Horai is doing it right. I first experienced their offerings at the farmers market- it quickly became my partner and I’s first stop on Saturday mornings. Always delicious coffee, delightfully crafted bread, and really kind & warm energy. Visiting their new spot on E 11th recently was so exiting! The layout feels really open and light. All their food and medicine offerings are delicious (I really can not get enough of their bread lol). When I ordered my oat milk chai, I even got a heart design in it which can be hard to accomplish with non-dairy! The overall experience of Horai has such a community feel- I hope to be one of the regulars to keep supporting the cool stuff this crew is doing. Thank you!! Wholewheat seeded bread had a perfect amount of seeds — not overwhelming. Texture was lovely and made for great grilled-cheeses and sandwiches. Only wish folks in there were a little more welcoming. For example by making sure to give equal attention to every customer and look at them in the eyes, including Asian folks. I’m sure you know what I mean… 😉✌🏻 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
