À propos
Perfectly cooked French burgers, onion strings and coleslaw have an appetizing taste. This bar can be recommended for good cheesecakes, Brezeln and banana pudding. You will hardly forget delicious craft beer, draft beer or cider that you can find. Among the drinks, there is great tea. Invite your friends to Hops Burger Bar with a wonderful atmosphere. The courteous staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Terrific service is something that people note in their reviews. From the visitors' point of view, prices are reasonable. With the fine decor, guests might feel at home there. The average score of this place on Google is 4.6.

Saturday night. Buzzing with excitement and fun in the air. Paaacked! You want a quiet and intimate evening with your significant other? Don’t come here on a Saturday night. You want a fun filled dinner with your significant other, friends or the whole family? Definitely come here. Plenty of parking right outside in the parking lot even though it was a busy Saturday evening. You walk in and you’re greeted with friendly staff, music, and a super fun atmosphere in the air. It was just the wife and I so we could belly up to the bar in just a few minutes of wait time. You have a party of 4 or more, make sure to give yourself some time on a busy weekend night. Even if you have to wait, it’s worth it. The craft brew scene here is fantastic. Plenty of beers for every palate on tap. Bartenders were super attentive, giving plenty of personal time even though the place was filled with no tables or bar seats empty. We weren’t waiting on anything, including the needed water hydration next to our great drinks. Starting off with what I’d say was one of the best fried green tomato appetizers we’ve had. Perfect crispy outside, with a juicy and tasty inside. Topped with either goat cheese, pimento cheese, or both (recommended!), it was a tasty starter that whet the appetite. We then went in for the burgers: Diablo for me (pepper jack cheese, guacamole, jalapeños, sautéed onions, and jalapeño bacon on a sriracha bun), and a Pickleback for the wife (fried onion rings, bourbon marinated pickles and bbq sauce on a brioche bun). We haven’t been to many burger spots in Greensboro yet, but these burgers live up to some of the best we’ve had compared to Phoenix and California. Huge patties, of which you can choose from a 6, 8 or 12oz size depending on your hunger or love for burgers. Juicy, tender and depth to flavor. The toppings just heighten the burger experience, and do not drown out the actual taste of the patty. The onion ring sides were amazing. And you can’t beat the presentation, see pics to get a feel for it without actually being there. But honestly, go experience it for yourself first hand if you haven’t yet. We will definitely be back! I had a lovely meal at Hops last night. The burger was perfect. I chose the 8oz patty but the six looked fine too. The fries were just average in my opinion, but I did not get them covered in anything! The onion rings were great. The service was fair. The parking was not great. The restaurant itself was nothing special. Does the food outweigh these? Probably. I want to go to the other location next time where the parking is worse. Be ready for a wait and parking woes but also to walk to your car satisfied! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Hops is SO good! Best burgers in town. Wanted to resubmit my rating with a five star. Dined in tonight with my sister and the service was great. Previous review: I was craving a burger and decided to order Hops instead of Five Guys … I am so glad that I did! Haven’t had Hops in years but I knew how good their burgers were. Asked for well done— spot on, the angus beef had a wonderful flavor, and applewood bacon was great quality. Thick flavorful bacon! Fries were perfect as well. The host(s) greeted me and they all were super nice and attentive. I did intend on placing my togo order online but there was an additional fee… Went inside to order to avoid it, so that was an inconvenience. They also add auto gratuity of 18% on parties of 6 or more. I try to stay away from force tip restaurants because those are earned for excellent service, not depending on your party size. Fast service, attentive staff, great food. Excellent buttery melt in your mouth burger. The waiting area is small so opt for the bar if you want to avoid the wait. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Got the special, the southern pines burger with chicken and dumpling side. Burger was really good and meat cooked right. Chicken and dumpling side is not something I usually order but since it came with it, I went for it. They were really good, especially on a cold night. Creamy, flavorful, plenty of fresh chicken. Wife got build your own burger, Carolina style. She said hers was good too. Large selection of craft beers (tap and bottles/cans) and several domestics too. Looked like there were a few wine options and basic bar spirits. Service was great. Server was helpful and knew the menu items really well. For the past 5 years I have visited Hops on Black Friday specifically for the "Gobbler" burger. This is the best burger on the planet pound for pound. I have been to a ton of burger bars, but Hops takes the mantle as the best. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Great Burger
