The chicken was horrible which surprised me since the place has been there forever. The breading on the chicken did not taste good, the chicken breast meat itself had a dark color to it. And also it was overcooked. The only thing I can think of is the oil was too old and needed changed. The mashed potatoes were worse than hospital potatoes. The dinner salad was the only thing good about my dinner. So I was very disappointed. We had a group of about 20 and they accommodated us really well, the waitress was nice and prompt. I ordered online takeout, I ordered a regular dark chicken dinner. Should have been two thighs and one leg. I got one thigh and one leg. The chicken was overcooked as well as the fries. When I got there to pick up my order the cashier said it wasn't ready yet because they had to drop more chicken. The dinning room was crowded. Chicken was undercooked...it was pink and bloody. Server was good but had to go get the girl working the check out counter after waiting for her for 5 minutes even though we were the only table there. Horrible experience. Will definitely not return. What a great place. Haven't been here in years but since Whitehouse no longer has dine-in and Village Inn is hit or miss we went here instead. It was just like I remembered from 30 years ago. Best hot sauce out of any Barberton chicken house. The chicken breading was so good. We had fantastic service. Our waitress was on the ball for everything. It's definitely my new (old) chicken place.
