Well, damn!!! This 🍗 is bomb!!!
The breading is everything you want - crunchy, light, salty, and even when fried super crispy it doesn’t get overly greasy.
The meat was so juicy. I had the 4 piece meal and the french fries were honestly super solid as well.
On top of that, the service was friendly and fairly quick.
Next time I’ll get more pickles…

Always on point! There were 5 of us so we got a family pack with and extra side of mashed potatoes and gravy and extra biscuits! We also ordered a whole peach pie to go because it was my birthday! 🥰 we spent about $110 and it was worth it! Will be back again. Also twice now we've taken the Metro E line to the Culver Blvd stop and walked over there. It's a real cute walk! And once we've taken our food to go and hopped back on the train to the pier and ate it at palisades park👍

We went here on Christmas eve and there was essentially no wait-time. Fried chicken was fresh out of the fryer. Additionally, the biscuits and fries were hearty. There's a parking garage on the same block that offers free 1-hour parking, which is great!

We got the family box and it was more than enough for 3 people. On top of that, we also got a blueberry lemonade, salad, and a slice of pecan pie. Everything from the to the sides were great. The chicken was moist with crispy skins without them being overly greasy or battered. The biscuits were heavenly fluffy. The lemonade was made with real lemon and blueberry compote. Pecan pie is one of the best I ever had with flaky crust and plenty of pecans. The only thing that I wish was different are the fries could be crispier. Love the customer service, everyone was nice!

Chicken and Biscuits
It was a long drive from SF to Culver City, but oh what an experience. Had watched about Honey's on YouTube and wanted to try it during my next trip. How good can fried chicken be? Well, I now have my answer- THIS good.
It was heartening to see the restaurant full, I was worried about parking (it is LA after all), but there is a large parking garage right behind. I ordered the fried chicken, the gravy, the biscuits and the burger, all of them hit the spot. The chicken burger was delicious, the patty was very well seasoned and flavored, the country fried chicken with the mashed potatoes was out of this world.
Overall, I'm glad the 6hr drive was worth it...
Now to visit the shop again and hope they are able to maintain their flavors.
