Senait was an absolute gem of a waiter at Hometown Girl! From her welcoming smile to her attentive service, she made our dining experience delightful. Her knowledge of the menu and genuine care for our satisfaction were evident throughout the evening. Senait's exceptional service truly elevated our dining experience. Highly recommended! Came here last night after work. Was not crowded. The bar was packed for the football game. The manager Tom greeted us as soon as we walked in. He was very pleasant and a great guy to talk to, he made us feel like we were regulars for our first time. The wait staff named Cookie was very knowledgeable, pleasant, and welcoming. She was professional, attentive, and kept a smile on throughout the whole evening with a bright smile. The atmosphere was very relaxing with a positive vibe, lights were dim, and it felt like a cozy industrial neighborhood bar that you could make your favorite place to be on a weekday or weekend. The food was prepared fresh with fresh ingredients. You could tell there were no gimmicks. This is the first time I finished the salad and could not finish my wings. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and not from a frozen bag. We have decided to adopt this place as our new home for many occasions. We will be back again. This place hit the mark. ////////UPDATE//////////// Just walked out about another 10 minutes. We came in this afternoon around 1:30 pm 4 February with a party of 3. We were sat at a booth. For about almost 10 minutes, no one acknowledged our table or even stopped by to bring water. So we decided to go across the street to Casa Tequila and as soon as we walked in, they brought us appetizers. I must admit when we fist came here the restaurant was great. The other 2 times we came, we noticed the food quality and response time started going down hill. Sorry, we will not be back again after giving them 3 chances. The food can be really good, unless the kitchen staff forgets something, like last November when my husband did take out. My salad arrived without any dressing. I had always loved this salad in the restaurant, but it's not the same without the buttermilk dressing. It's the Cobb Salad with fried chicken tenders. I rarely order anything else because when we come we are usually looking for something more inexpensive, but most of their items are pricey. Most of the cheaper items have ingredients not healthy for me. I love the salad but I want something warm to eat in the winter time. A few times I've ordered from the Chef's choice on the weekend which was very affordable and delicious, but I don't want to spend all that during the week when we are just popping in for a quick bite. Not enjoying the new winter menu so we don't come in as often this season. Wait staff is usually very nice, sometimes attentive, once in a while they dissapear for long spells even though the place isn't very busy. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Go here for Restaurant week and for casual lunch/dinner any other time. Our steaks were cooked PERFECTLY. There is so much thought put into their side dishes they could stand alone! Service is excellent without being intrusive. Jocelyn was our server - met every need, and beyond. Looking forward to our next visit for this family owned establishment. Visited tonight for the first time for my birthday dinner. Looked at the menu and reviews ahead of time and everything looked great. Unfortunately, our experience was not. The calamari and Brussel sprouts were very greasy and lacked flavor/seasoning. The Brussel sprouts were so oily we didn’t eat them. My husband had the short ribs and said again it lacked flavor. The service also lacked, seemed like the server was having a bad day or something. Drink stayed empty. We had really high hopes but unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience and the food was too pricey to be that disappointed. Not sure if we just went on a bad night or what the deal was.
