A few of my hiking friends and I were headed to the Rocky Mountain National Park for a week backpacking trip, and happened to find this place on our way. The ribs and brisket were fantastic and those Beans! We liked it so much, we stopped again on our return trip back to Ohio. Highly recommend if you are traveling east/west and passing through Salina, make sure you stop at Hickory Hut BBQ if you like smoked meats. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ate the food so fast couldn't manage any photos this trip. Everything is always so good and fresh!!! Service is always friendly and as quick as they can be. Love the inside atmosphere. I always tell people when you go to a BBQ place that "if you can't smell the smoke, keep going." Well folks, when you walk into the Hickory Hut, you will be greeted with the best smelling BBQ place this side of Texas. Fast and friendly service food was great from the ribs to the coleslaw and everything in between. My only complaint is there should be a warning sign DON'T WEAR WHITE...I had BBQ sauce everywhere, lol Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
