Great little Diner to eat at! We went for breakfast as a family. The scenery is cool. It's set up really quaint. The service was good, and food came out right away; nice and hot. Priced reasonably with a decent variety. Is it worth the stop? Absolutely! We will return soon! Great diner. The building has been totally rehabbed and is clean and bright. The service was excellent and the servers were very attentive . We stopped in from somerset for something new. Firstly it was cool that this establishment is dedicated to a veteran from California as I am also a veteran from California. The building looks nice and new. The tables and floor and seats are all nice and clean, didn’t feel grimy or dirty at all. Wait staff was nice and polite and although the order was a little off and our coffee ran out, you could tell they tried their best. Effort is all one can ask for in an environment like that. Food was hot and fresh. Everything tasted fine but my only complaint is that most of it is right off the food truck. Again everything tasted fine but I like going to these small diners for their unique recipes. I could have ordered this type of food from any main stream franchise is all I’m saying… the waffle and potatoes are good but like I said they are precooked and just heated to order. But the food was good so if they did have any custom recipes in there than bravo to them. I have heard mixed reviews from friends about many issues with service and food freshness but during our visit we experienced none of those. I would eat here again. We stopped in while traveling, and what a great experience we had! Even though we came in shortly before closing, Krystine the owner welcomed us in and said to take our time. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! Wow! Through conversation with Krystine we found that the name of the restaurant was in honor of her father Hank who passed from cancer, and that she too was a cancer survivor. I always believe you are always meant to land where you do to meet people you wouldn't otherwise. If you are looking for a great, clean place with exceptional food and a fantastic group of people making and serving it, this is it! We stopped in for breakfast. They were really busy but we felt the service was great. We were at the counter and could see how the staff was hustling. The food was good and prices reasonable. We will go there again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
