What an amazing time at Hacienda on the Lake. The new chef and manager,Miguel, have made vast improvements. The food and drinks are all amazing and a step above what they used to be. Hacienda has an amazing view and ambiance, and now the food and drinks are top-notch. There were 4 of us, and we all had Don Julio tequilla shots, margaritas and champagne. The calamari was delicious and the chips were fresh, and salsa was perfect. My wife had the caleta, I had the Las Brisas, and our friends had the carnitas and brunch chile Verde omelet. Marco provided amazing service, and Miguel and his amazing team checked in on us regularly. They even sang happy birthday to our dear friend Julie with a complimentary desert. Great time, food, and people. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful dinner at Hacienda. The ambiance is simply unmatched with gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Jose Pena was our server extraordinare and was attentive, professional, and personable. My wife and I both enjoyed a few tequilla drinks and then our main course. The staff are so helpful and friendly. My wife had the chicken enchiladas, and I had the Brisas relleno and chicken enchilada. This is one of our favorite restaurants as it feels like a slice and feel of the Mexican coast. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful afternoon. My wife and I decided to head to Hacienda on the lake for lunch prior to going grocery shopping. We were greeted at the door by the lovely hostess, who is always pleasant, friendly, and always smiling. The hostess took us to a wonderful table by the water. The ambiance is refreshing and so peaceful. The beauty of the lake and boats that apparently were racing today was spectacular. Our server Ricky came by and was very kind and professional. We started with drinks, and my wife had the traditional frozen margarita and I had the mango frozen margarita. Our drinks came swiftly, and we savored the chips and salsa as well. Ricky took our entree order, and my wife had the Caleta, which is two chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, and I ordered the Las Brisas, which is a chle relleno, chicken enchilada, rice and beans. While awaiting our entrees, the manager, Miguel, stopped by, and I mentioned how nice the new roofing project turned out in the outdoor eating areas. The improvement has made a huge difference in how bright and clean the outside dining area feels and looks. While waiting for our food, we also discussed the changes in the margarita mixes and tequila choices as well as their new and improved Taco Tuesday venue with new tacos that we will try in a few weeks. Miguel was so kind, and he even brought us a few samples of the new traditional margaritas, which were terrific. Truly these changes are fantastic as Hacienda now not only has the best views and ambiance in the OC but now has the best margaritas, a vast selection of quality tequilas and margaritas and food that is well presented and very tasty. We have been regulars at Hacienda as it's walking distance from the house and are very happy with the improvements in the facility, the food, the drinks, and the special events. Stop in to taste and feel the difference. Ask for Miguel, and he will make sure your dining experience is a memorable one.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Hacienda on the Lake. The ambiance down by the water is magnificent. Our server Kasaundra was very nice and attentive. We started with drinks and guacamole with chips and enjoyed sipping tequilla, watching the ducks and the people enjoying the lake. We also saw some Christmas decorations and it was quite nice. The staff rolled over a heater, and the background music was perfect as well. We ordered out entrees, and my wife had a chicken enchilada plate, and I had the chicken fajitas. So good. We also had another round of drinks.
It was a nice time out and highly recommended.

Food was edible, order was wrong no flavor at all to the tacos. Place was not busy at all and service was poor. To bad this place has such potential but not under current conditions.
