We had high expectations. We had reservations for our party of four. Everyone in our party agreed that the menu was limited, the portions tiny and the prices exorbitant. My fish entree consisted of literally three bites of fish with 1/2 of the plate taken up with an artistic swirl of green sauce… for $65. No sides included. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful. Don’t go hungry… better to go and enjoy drinks and the ambience. On vacation with the family from the east coast and this was our first time eating at this establishment. Needless to say, we were NOT disappointed. In fact, they exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The food from start to finish was outstanding. The chef is a master of his craft. If we had the ability we would have given him 3 Michelin stars. From taste to presentation, hands down the best meal we've had in a long time. The service was just as exceptional. Scott was friendly, efficient, and very knowledgeable. I ordered the Elk and portion size was tiny. I think they split it with another person I was dining with. Service was really good. There salmon crudo, and brussel sprouts with maple and bacon were delicious. They had a musician, which was nice. Words Fail!! Probably the best restaurant (other than Gallotoires of New Orleans) I've been in 57 years. Every thing I consumed was an 11 outta 10! The pork chop, the black cod, the elk, the duck and other entrees were The Best! The bread and even my Kale salad was unmatched! Period. All desserts were tip top!!
