A great first place to stop after a windy drive up! Service is excellent and friendly, menu is hilarious, and the Mess is the best! Only minor ding is the rather rubbery chicken fried steak.

Grizzly Manor Cafe is a gem in Big Bear, CA. The cozy, local vibe, coupled with their mouth-watering breakfast menu, makes it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a quirky, warm atmosphere that only adds to the unique dining experience. The staff is known for being friendly and attentive, ensuring your meal is as enjoyable as possible.
The menu is a breakfast lover's dream, with options ranging from their famously large pancakes to hearty breakfast combos that include eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. Their French Toast breakfast is a personal favorite of mine—perfectly cooked, dusted with powdered sugar, and simply delicious.
Portion sizes are generous, to say the least, so make sure to bring your appetite.

This place came highly recommended from friends and now I come here for breakfast every time I'm in Big Bear. There's no way I can come and not stop by for some food. I've been coming here for the past two years now and it never disappoints me. I try something new every time and have loved everything. On my previous visit I had the French Toast and it was amazing. This time I had to try the Blob and my friends tried the different pancakes. Then tomorrow I'm definitely going for their waffles. The place isn't that big, so make sure you get there early or you'll have a little wait because everyone loves the food here. It has a nice old school diner slash nostalgic feel to it. You definitely can't go to Big Bear and not have breakfast here at least once.

We had brunch there on Sunday around 9.30am. Expect a long wait (1.30 for us), but they will let you know the wait so you can go for a walk and come back later. The portions are huge, the vibe is everything and the staff so kind! We had the Sissy boy, big fat and some sides. We will definitely come back to enjoy this old fashion breakfast dinner.
