Yesterday was my birthday. I wanted a picture with the drawbridge as my backdrop so my husband and I went out onto the covered dock. We took our pictures and a mere few seconds later, a transformer nearby exploded, knocking out the power to this restaurant. I suffer Sensory Processing Disorder so the sound travels THROUGH my entire body. Admittedly I screamed and am pretty sure the entire restaurant heard me. Our ticket was the LAST ticket into the kitchen before this incident so we still got our food. Ate by battery operated candlelight. Food was amazing! Staff was prepared with lanterns. Hopefully everyone else was understanding of the issue. I DO NOT hold the restaurant at fault. They had no way of knowing my disorder and it was just the luck of the draw for my birthday. I didn't want that as a birthday candle though! 😂 I hope you guys were able to restore power in a timely manner! 🤞😁 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I had a fabulous time on Friday Feb. 16th. The food and atmosphere were great. We had a Terrific Waitress (Stephanie) she was Amazing! 😁 The female jazz vocalist was entertaining and has an Awesome voice and song selection. We will return soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had Valentine's dinner here last night and it was five stars in every category. The food, drinks, service, location and ambiance were all flawless. We sat on their patio, but it can (and was) completely enclosed and heated for the cooler weather. This afforded a beautiful view of the water and sunset. It is on the pricier side, but well in line with what one would expect for fine dining, which this restaurant definitely is. We arrived early and as we dined, the place filled up as Valentine's Day reservation holders came in. Staffing was at the right level for a very busy night ... since COVID, a lot of places can't figure this out, but the Grille has. Free valet parking is great since they don't have a lot of space near the building; valet service was prompt and efficient. There were some large parties and parties with children ... all seemed comfortable and well attended to. Definitely make a reservation first; this is a popular place. For us, we wouldn't make it a weekly haunt; it's a higher end establishment. But for special occasions, it will be a go-to destination, worth the drive over the North Causeway! NEW 12/25/23: Attended restaurant for Christmas dinner reservations at 6:00 pm. Slow service, luke warm dishes, and price increase for limited menu selection. As noted below very familiar with this restaurant and disappointment with Christmas service this year considering the overall bill totalled $400. Since reservations were just before closing, we assume the service was impacted by prep work for closing. The food served didn't meet the price charged. OLD: The atmosphere is superior to the average restaurant with a full view of the river and bridge. Food is tasty and fresh: reasonably priced matching the value.
