I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Grandma's! The breakfast burrito and bacon egg and cheese were absolutely delicious. The menu offers a variety of tasty options, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced everything was. The cozy atmosphere and delightful food make Grandma's a must-visit for any food enthusiast. If you want to try a really creative and tasty hot dog, Grandma's is worth a try. Very creative combos many of which I would not consider but somehow work out tasting really good. Many other things on the menu besides hot dogs. Will stop again to try more of the menu. Seems like this place has many regular customers who also return for the great flavors. Every time I come home from Brooklyn this is one of my first stops. It is the PERFECT iconic jersey diner. Low key, great staff, good food. I love the aesthetic and authenticity. 10/10 recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This restaurant is in the class of quick stop breakfast/lunch places. It would not be fair to group this place with a diner joint. In the category of quick stops, this place is 5 stars. I had the chicken gyro with fries and a chili hot dog. The food was good, not the best, I’ve ever had but, again, for what it is, it’s yummy. The lady at the counter was extremely friendly and as it was my first time there, she gave me some recommendations. I will definitely add this to my breakfast lunch rotation. Delighted to have found this place nearby! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Tiny little building, but DO NOT DRIVE BY IT. Wonderful food, very friendly staff, and reasonable pricing. We had a patty melt from their specials menu, it was outstanding. The chipotle wrap was very good. Truly a hidden gem. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Came here with my wife and we got the slaw and taco dogs with Cole slaw side and a Buffalo chicken sandwich. Cole slaw was a huge portion and creamy style. Food was fresh and good but nothing special. I think it met expectations as a fast casual roadside stop. The environment feels like a blast from the past; being roadside is an obvious drawback but it’s largely blocked by shrubbery. Neat place but if we went back think we’d try other items. I asked the worker what was popular or she’d recommend and she didn’t have any input haha Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This place was fantastic! I know it doesn't look like it from the outside, but it was great! The food was delicious. I particularly liked the seasoning on the home fries. Service was fast and friendly. Plenty of parking and the outside seating was clean and cozy with a cute gnome-filled garden. I totally recommend this place for breakfast!

This mom and pop restaurant doesn’t look like much when you drive by on Rt 22 East in Branchburg. Its located next door to the Royal/30 Burgers. It’s a little green building with a decent size parking lot. It’s good for Truckers because you have room to park. This is a very casual place, nothing fancy, it could use a little updating. It’s wheelchair accessible. You can also place an order by phone and swing by and pick it up. They also have local delivery.( call and dbl check your area.) They have some indoor dining, and a few patio tables outside with a cute little gnome garden. Grandma’s serves breakfast and lunch everyday and Sundays from 6a to 3pm. Saturdays 7a- 3pm. They offer a good selection of items. Grandma’s is known for their delicious chili dogs. I had to come try it for myself. I ordered 2 CHILI DOGS with CHILI, CHEESE, and ONIONS. To my surprise, the chili dogs were some of the best I’ve ever had. They use premium Thumman’s hot dogs which are deep fried. ( if you like Rutts Hut or Hot Dog Johnny’s you’ll love Grandma’s.) Thumman’s happens to be my favorite brand of hot dog, ( it’s a Jersey, NY, Connecticut thing.) They have a nice snap when you bite into them. Grandma’s chili has good flavor, not spicy it was the perfect accompaniment. They also offer Chicago Style Dogs and Texas Weiner style too along with burgers. Grandma’s has fresh coffee brewing all day. You can get omelettes, french toast, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, cheesesteaks, burritos, wraps, Cuban sandwiches, quesadillas etc. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and lunch especially if you like really good hot dogs. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
Slow. Extremely slow. So slow, that after more than 30 minutes of waiting for french toast and pancakes, my husband told the woman at the register to cancel our order because we were leaving. In response, she promised our food would be ready in four minutes. Well, they must have forgotten about our order because when it arrived, it was piping hot, freshly made. The French toast must have been hurriedly prepared because it was crispy on the outside and under cooked internally. Bottom line, I was extremely disappointed and the food was not worth the wait.
