Nice place for parents with kids! You can enjoy some drinks and food while the little ones play. Lots of options to climb, ride and explore for kids of all ages.
Can be very crowded when the weather is nice!
Great playground for the kids. The waiter was helpful with the Dutch menu and in our beer selection. Food was average at best (burger/pizza/soup). The best part of the burger was the crunchy very tasty side salad. The pizza was doughy and bland.
It took 30min from asking for the bill to actually paying the bill. We asked 4 different staff members and were told that person would come around. I eventually interrupted "the card machine managers" multiple social conversations with other staff members and got the bill paid.
The kids asked to go back to the Grand Cafe Sands, but we found better options and spent our time and money elsewhere.
Average food with poor service. The cold drinks arrived quickly but it took so long for the food to arrive we'd finished the drinks. The food arrived without cutlery and the pizza wasn't sliced. The food was ok but the service ruined it.
Our kids are a bit too old now but it's lots of fun and a great place for the kids to play. The rates are a bit high though, but that can be expected these days.
A very nice place for families with children. The playground is fun for kids. Soft sand and multiple attributes to discover.
The service was good as well.
We were with a group of 26 and we were placed inside but since it was the warmest oktober 29th, we suggested to sit outside and in 5 minutes it was settles and the whole family moved outside.
The menu was full of variety, even for pregnant woman and children.
And ofcourse it was delicious too :)

Two stars rate only because of the playground, which I have to admit can adore a kid. Talking about a service and meals...hmmm...we have ordered in self-service zine pancakes and fries assuming that the basic dishes can be prepared fast and quite good. After 45min not been called to pick up the order, it turned out first of all, that they don't have pancakes (nevertheless I was charged for that), second of all, that our order was never delivered to kitchen, so if I would not asked probably nobody would inform us about it. We asked for money back and went to other nearby restaurant, and it was a perfect choice.

It took a bit of time but when I ate the food I realised the wait had been totally worth it.

FIVE stars for the playgrounds (fantastic for kids!) but terrible service. Standing in 3 lines to get portions of my order. Inexperienced staff not knowing what to do, being idle, costing money. Why not focus on staff that take your order at the table? This will help revenues because they are proactively selling ‘another round’ as opposed to people just enjoying their kids deciding if they want to endure yet another line to wait 30 minutes for their order. Bizarre - so much untapped potential and no one seems to be willing to make changes after all these years.

Very nice camping in the middle of a National Park. Receptionist is very nice and helpful, and facilities are great according our needs. And huge camping spots, wow! Only three downside:
- restaurant close kitchen at 19:30 even if the closing time written is 22;
- for the hot water you need special coins;
- WiFi is not free.
Great place, just for the fact they have a completely free park for children to play in. We take the boy scouts there for free and have never been bothered. They do want you to drink at their cafe when you are there, but that seems perfectly reasonable to me.
