Wow! Really good pies and the baker (I assume since he looked the part) recommended what to get since it was our first time there. We ordered the Blue Goose, Cherry Crumble pie, Apple Crumble pie, Gooey Butter pie, German Chocolate Pie. All were great but our favorites were the Blue Goose and Cherry. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gooseberry Pies is a pie paradise! Absolutely loved every pie we tried—purchased 6 and each was amazing. The homemade ice cream is a must-try, so good! We're definitely coming back for more. I got pies here for the family Thanksgiving this year and they were a huge hit. Everyone agreed they tasted like better versions of the classic pumpkin and pecan pies we had made for years! My 95-year old grandma even said the pecan pie tasted just like the Dear Abby recipe she has used for years, which is the highest compliment any pie baked by anyone other than her can receive. Absolutely delightful pie shop! They have so many choices & a great operation going on w/their display cases & thoughtful packaging. I’ve tried different mini pies (all good!) & recently tried the gumbo pot pie & smoked chicken pot pie. Helpful heating instructions were included. We shared 2 pies for dinner & they were filling & flavorful. Will always try to have some in our freezer from now on. Very friendly owner!
