We had a great lunch here. The food is excellent and service was friendly. Our group had crab legs, fish tacos, burger, steak sub, pasta, and gator tail. Goombay smash drink was amazing too.

We visited for their Gombrrrrs pop up event which was part of the 12 Bars of Christmas event across the Outerbanks. We had a nice time and enjoyed our food and drinks. Goombays Grille and Raw Bar was absolutely amazing. The food was on point, wait staff had their act together, and the entire atmosphere was so inviting. The table we sat at had vintage Washington Redskins tickets embedded in. The appetizer sampler was awesome, coconut shrimp with mango sauce was excellent, the jalapeño crabcake was spicy but flavorful, and the rocket rice shrimp was...... Weird but delicious. Wife had the crab cake dinner which was delicious and I had the Cabaret Shrimp which was also delicious. If you are a local or vacationing and you haven't tried this place, I strongly recommend it. Service was fantastic! I had the Tuna Oscar and it was good. My husband ordered the fish tacos which are Tuna. We love the food at Goombay's. Everything is good. My favorites are the Hatteras Clam Chowder and the Tuna Tacos! The Portobello Burger is fantastic.
