The service was great. The food was great. My son lost his wallet at the restaurant. The next day, the manager took his wallet all the way to East High School. I can't thank you enough. We will be back in the near future. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

@ register, Jorge was kind and pleasant. Kelly, was helpful to our server Alec whom is MVP. Not only is Alec wonderful eye candy, he works good around the people, he makes sure everyone in his whole section is taken care of while is ready to assist elsewhere, whenever called upon. Alec made our night wonderfully smooth in the midst of a full house. I also enjoyed seeing how well Alec kept everything so clean. He is future manger material no doubt. The three gentlemen, worked as a team with care and skill which made us feel good about sitting down to have our meal. The baked fish was salty and the fried fish wasn't labeled as 🤮 catfish. Overall, it was a good experience but mostly because of the service. (Note to management) Please do something about the Children playing in the restroom alone and playing in the desserts we past on. I am from Seattle and have to drive an hour and a half for a good Golden Corral. I am in Bakersfield on average about 3 times per year for 5 - 8 weeks each time. I love eating breakfast and dinner here. Taking a stab at guessing, I eat here about 15 - 20 times per year and I always bring people to dine with me. I know the food is not of the highest quality and the best for healthy eating, but I think it is one of the all time best food values for dine in restaurants. Some of the food items are also not always always hot on the buffet like they should be but for the value, I cannot complain. Even when the food is not as hot as I might prefer, the food always taste really good. I am a US Army Veteran and I appreciate how the Golden Corral's around the country support veterans. Thank you. Golden Corral is a classic, an important part of my childhood. I did not own a console as a kid, but I got access to PC games and Golden Corral is an all-time favorite. My cousins visit me mainly to play games together, they are much older than me but we all love this game. In a time few have heard of the internet or have a cellphone, not much for entertaining and arcades are just being introduced and being expensive, having a PC with a couple of games is like having a Lamborghini LOL but you get the idea. I spent numerous hours playing Golden Corral, the video game industry was not popular in the 90s and even with the few video games to choose from, most of the games are of high quality for people to play back and forth, which gives me an insight that developers back then were serious about making video games. If you read others complaining a NPC is either too difficult or cheating in Golden Corral- no, I do not think so. I would think they just need more time to understand the tricks, I win each time but still have fun.I almost always build the bigger block into a hotel, it charges opponents and forces them to stay for 1-4 days. If I have mines I leave it on the block so when the poor walk on it immediately when leaving the hotel and going directly to the hospital LOL. Anyway, there are many dirty and normal tricks in this game and even Golden Corral franchise has at least 11 games for the years later, I always love Golden Corral the best, and whenever I think of it I recall sweet memory of it, seeing myself as a kid have few to worry and lots fun to enjoy. Golden Corral does not bother me for the low resolution, or the freezes issue - I run on win 10 and the game crashes every 10 mins but the auto save is reliable. If you are a curious new player beware those issues you may encounter as well, just know this game is more for nostalgia reasons. It's one of my favorite places to eat. Yesterday the food wasn't delicious and it seemed old. The price wAs right I went during senior discount.. only the the fried chicken was good and beverage and mashed potatoes and clam chowder.. usually the salad is very fresh. I waited for the steak it was not tasty bad flavor. I might never visit again . The restroom was finally clean. The restaurant needs upgrade new if everything.. hope Bakersfield California opens another buffet place soon similar to Golden corrals menu. .
