Horrible $30 meal....store extremely dirty...water on floor with no signs, just a yellow bucket...no counter service until we asked to order.. ..counter help had hair hanging out of hat and kept pulling up pants (belt maybe?)...food took forever and Manager (blue shirt) was actually eating, while behind counter and handling money and customer food...that's 100% disgusting.and unacceptable....Will not be returning even though we do support local business.... I hate writing this but I’m tired of my orders being messed up. I love golden chick and I understand a mistake or two happens every now again and that’s fine. We’re all humans. But messing up, losing my order or items missing from my order every time I go is exhausting cause I drive almost an hour away to get home because I just work in Pleasanton. Please do better. Food is great and manager is nice, but some better procedures need to be put in place to do better by the customers. The food is great, service not good at all. Went thru the drive thru for a side of poppers and 2 rolls. Waited 30 minutes to get my food. Got to my room poppers only, no rolls. I got food poisoning here 3 times!! Ok so I love golden chick here in San Antonio, so I go here out of habit. When I have a bad experience I like to give a place another chance after 6mnths . But this was the third and final time. My husband and I are sick as a dog again. I don't know what they are doing wrong or if the chicken is old or what, but each time I've gotten sick at this particular Golden Chick. It's so disappointing . I have given this location many chances but each time the service is awful and the food is subpar. They take the menu as a suggestion and rarely have items available and when they do you wait 30 minutes just to get the wrong order. The staff do not care and laugh about messed up orders and missing items.
