This bar and Slover Library can be both really attractive for tourists. Here you can find the French cuisine. It's time to try nicely cooked scallops, lettuce salads and octopus. SHOUT-OUT to Saleema, one of the best servers I've experienced post-covid. Her menu & establishment knowlege, warm tableside manner & spot-on attentiveness made for an great dining experience. Glass Light is very active, with a "cool" aesthetic surrounded by works of glass art. The shared appetizer, Barrata & Fig, was Roasted Fig, Mostarda, Saba, Marcona Almond, Prosciutto, with the delicious, gently grilled sourdough (PERFECT). Entrees included perfectly SEARED SCALLOPS with Kabocha Squash, Shittake Mushrooms, Dashi, & Shiso and ROCKFISH with Begula Lentils (OMG!), Brussel Sprouts I'm convinced were dusted with seafood seasoning (🥰), Cauliflower, Edward's Bacon and Vaddouvan. I cannot wait to return to try the other starters & courses. It's that type of restaurant where they are upscale chill. Where it's that open kitchen that I've come to love, the food is made with love, it is engaging to the senses, and pleasing to the palate. Service is always engaging and attentive no matter the occasion. Bonus is that you can visit the attached glass museum adjacent to the restaurant as part of the hotel. Clean, so clean, everywhere! Another banger that's now on the list. Nice new restaurant that has been around for about 5 years that I've never heard about. Very light and you will enjoy the quality.
