Gigi’s Ice Cream Shop is a hidden gem on Main Street in Laurel where the owner, Karelin, is serving up more than just ice cream. On our most recent visit, my wife and I enjoyed croissant breakfast sandwiches, iced coffee and horchata…and it did not disappoint! Our sandwiches were made to order and came with fresh fruit on the side. If you’re a fan of horchata, I highly recommend giving Gigi’s a try. We left satisfied and eager to return for another delicious treat. Karelin is friendly, providing great customer service and delicious food. With a variety of menu options to choose from, you are sure to find something that suits your appetite. Next on my list is a limited time seasonal treat, spiced up green mangoes. If you’re in the Laurel, MD area, stop by Gigi’s Ice Cream Shop on Main Street for a quick meal or dessert…you can thank me later!

This was my first time here. It’s small, but cute. The lady working was friendly and made a great breakfast sandwich. I got a caramel latte and a ham, egg and cheese croissant. Will be back for ice cream with the kids.

WOWOWOW! We needed this on Main Street! My boyfriend and I ordered the caramel frappe (he said it was really good! Lots of caffeine), turkey & cheese croissant (added avocado), turkey & cheese panini (added avocado & tomato), giant cookie, Belgium waffle and a chocolate covered banana. lol we were feasting, but the food was DELICIOUS. OH! And the croissant and cookie and freshly baked!! Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for something sweet & savory. Karelin took great care of us :) thank you! We will be back!

Gigi’s is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat, a hot beverage, and of course all your ice cream favorites!! Vegan options available as well! We enjoyed our visit this afternoon! Definitely will be back! Gigi is amazing and the shop is equally as amazing!

Nestled on Main Street, America, lies a newly opened mom & pop Ice Cream shop -- in this case, owner Karelin is literally about to become a mom!
But don't let the ice cream label fool you. On top of their 14 different ice creams (and 10 toppings), they have great coffee and espresso drinks; pastries for humans and their pup owners; and croissant and pannini sandwiches-- high honors to this pesto caprese pannini I'm munching on now.
