Food was alright, nothing special. We had the fish and chips and a chicken sandwich, and a drink with both. For $55+tip was hoping for a little better. Well, it seems to be a very nice place, clean and the staff are friendly. The space is a little tight, and it's hard to hold a close conversation due to all the noise from rowdy patrons. Our wait staff was limited, we only saw him three or four times, he didn't ask to refill drinks, and never delivered our food, someone else did. The food was Midwest mediocre; pretty bland and overcooked. All the breading fell off the bang bang shrimp, and the fish and chips was quite dry and flavorless. The miso fish was tasty according to my partner. For the amount of people coming in, it's pretty apparent it's a hot spot for locals to hang and have a home cooked meal. I've eaten here twice, and have enjoyed the lunch options. The food is good, service is attentive, and the environment is clean and has a new feel to it. The music is louder than a typical restaurant, and I was able to notice adult themes and curse words in the songs, which may limit who I dine here with.
