Had an awesome time at Gatsby in Bodø, Norway, last night. The place has a cool vibe and the staff were super welcoming. I went for the Blue Cheese Burger and it blew my mind – easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The cocktails were on point too, each one we tried was a hit. But it wasn’t just the food and drinks that made the night. Gatsby has some fun games that got everyone laughing and competing, which was a blast. And the dancing! The music was great, and the atmosphere just makes you want to get up and join in. Hanging out with the staff was the cherry on top; they were all about making sure everyone had a good time, joining in on the games and dances, making the whole experience feel like a night out with friends. Definitely a spot worth checking out in Bodø. Whether you’re in it for the killer burgers, cool cocktails, games, or just a great place to dance and hang out, Gatsby delivers. Honestly, I’m visiting from America and this is one of the best places I’ve ever been for drinks, I got an apple teeny, and an amaretto sour and they were done so well I am a bit tipsy. Earlier people were eating burgers. Also, there’s games in the back and quite a few people going in and out from all different ages. I highly recommend. Thank you so much for having you guys!!! Also, if you’re lucky in the fall and winter, you will probably see the northern lights ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Interior is cool, relaxed ambiance, friendly and international staff, food is superbly delicious. I ordered hot wings and dirty fries and it was served in generous portions. I asked for a special drink outside the menu and the bartender made me one.Gatsby is a must visit burger bar in Bodø and its location is very central. I also appreciated the very good service I got especially from Jeck and for these reasons I can now call this visit the Great Gatsby experience. ☺️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very good burgers and chili cheese with large portions of fries! Nice atmosphere with a decent bar and shuffleboards in the back.

I had the vegan burger which features the Beyond burger patty by default, along with a side of fries. Happy with the flavor of both, but the burger was a bit wet/sloppy which made it hard to eat and I think bigger buns might have been a good idea; the insides kept trying to climb out. We were there right on opening time, and the service was friendly and contrary to many of the recent reviews, the food delivery prompt - perhaps it pays to get in early? Would go again.

The food was good and the atmosphere of the restaurant itself warm. The staff unfortunately was not very committed/engaged. It began during the entrance, when someone in our group at first adressed one of the staff in Norwegian since we didn't know he was not from Norway. The waiter strangely didn't react understandingly to that, but almost negatively. When bringing the drinks, another member of the staff didn't put the bottles down, but sort of dropped it for the last centimeter. On it's own that's certainly not a big deal, but later when paying, it was almost like the card reader was also thrown on the table before me, which is very impolite. You should never distantly drop the card reader in front of a customer, but instead place it or give it. When we were finished eating, it took a long time for someone from the staff to notice that we wanted to pay. Also, when we left the staff didn't take time to look up when we paused on our way out to say goodbye, even though they didn't seem to be occupied with work. Long story short, good food but the engagement of the staff definitely needs improvement.

Amazing burgers! Best meal in Bodø! Ordered a Nacho Plate appetizer for the entire table and we all got burgers and beer. There really isn't a bad option for a burger on the menu, it just depends on your preference for toppings. Order a side of fries to share with 1-3 people.

This was a good experience: We ordered different burgers and different french fries. Everything was cooked perfectly. It tasted very good. We enjoyed our beers and it was a pleasant evening. They have so many different choices of burgers that you may have to think a while. The staff was very friendly and nice. After eating with received refreshing towels for our hands. Prices are acceptable (remember: Norway). Recommended.
