The gather never disappoints. My wife and I have been there a dozen times over the last 3 or 4 years. It's pricey but worth it. They have excellent wait staff, true chefs and excellent mixologists (not bartenders). We went there after trying something different at another Findlay restaurant which we hadn't been to in years. After being seated for 15 min with 4 waitstaff passing us and not even a hello, on a night where the were only 3 other tables being used, we bolted and went to our guaranteed location, The Gathering. Exceptional experience of food, wine, and beer. Pork Chop was very tender, Ancho Steak was cooked perfectly medium rare, and the duck wings were crispy, savory with a tangy sauce. Of course the Blue Berry Cobbler did not disappoint to finish it off. Mixed drink the Rose Goggles was very nice, and this sour apple wine pretty neat too. The young sous-chef was on grill tonight and cooked everything spectacularly. Lovely fine dining experience and will come back again. 4.8/5
