I'm new to the Bennington area and was very happy to discover this place. As others here have mentioned: you wouldn't expect it from the outside. I had driven by it many times without realizing what a gem it is. Inside it might help to tone down the lighting (individual lights at each table always make a cozy setting!). Food was great: all vegetarian, rice and noodles. Flavorful Miso soup and hot green tea. I want to add a special shout-out to our waitress, Mariah. Culturally competent, attentive, and efficient. Pulling up to this place from the outside, I was a little hesitant because it looks a bit run down and very small. However, the inside is cute, clean, and even a little fancy! Yes, it is cozy, and it filled up fast. Very popular place. The staff were friendly. The service was quick, and the food was excellent. We went for sushi and it was lovely and delicious. The menu is varied with Japanese, Chinese, and Thai inspired options, as well. I loved the green salad - the dressing is very tasty! We don't visit the Bennington area often, but we will return to Fuji if we do!
