This place made me feel like I was in a 50's dinner. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to my next visit. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Bacon Double Steak Burger and Fries
Similar in style to Culver's, hamburger patties are more crispy and slightly closer to a smash burger. They use shoestring fries, it's nice to have something different from every other place every once in a while. Their fry sauce is a major plus for me, though. It goes with everything. The cheese curds aren't firm like Culver's. They are soft with a lighter breading typically. Sometimes, if they are cooked longer, they become crispy. I've experienced both, and the cheese curds are good both ways! I have heard people say they actually prefer their chicken over places like Chick-fil-A and Popeyes. It is very good, I remain neutral on that debate, though! The dessert is good. Their shakes and mixers are nice. Culver's is better in this category, in my opinion. All orders are made to order, and it's always fresh. Staff are friendly. The inside is typically clean. There is handicap parking, I can't recall if the doors have a button to automatically open, though. I don't think they do if I had to guess. Freddy's is really good, if you like 50's style burgers and fries. The fries are smaller than most places but you get a bigger portion. The Freddy's Fries Sauce is pretty good, too. Service is friendly and prompt. There's plenty of seats to dine in or you can take it to go. The food is pretty comparable to Culver's, but they don't have as many choices. I've been there several times and I'd go back again and again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Burger
Every time I have gone here, whether I have gone with friends or family we have enjoyed the food. From the cashiers to the people who hand out your food after calling your number are so nice, helpful and friendly. I call that great service. Great for a quick lunch! The burgers are very good. I ordered the all-beef hotdog, which is served on a New-England style bun. It reminded me of the hotdogs I use to buy at the lunch counter in Woolworth’s in Chicago when I was a boy. The drive-through order was quick and pleasant. Ordered two of the double cheeseburgers with fries and ice tea. Pickup was pretty quick, and the order was correct. The food was still hot when I got it home. The burger patties are the thin smashes patties that were larger than the good-sized bun. Long cut pickels, which I liked and all assembled nicely. No lettuce or onions, just a good cheeseburger. Great taste on the thin double patty burger without it being too dry. The shoestring fries were overflowing the cup and not too oily, and well salted. Love the iced tea. The cost was $19.98 + $1.70 tax for a total of $21.68. It was one of the better drive-through burgers in the last month. Quick and simple ordering with the app, eco friendly packaging. Decent food and relatively cheap. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First time coming to this restaurant. Talking to the young lady I thought it was her first day started. So I ordered. I went to find a seat to sit down to wait for my order but I couldn't sit down because all the tables & seats was dirty. Had to get someone to clean my table off and I had to clean the seat. Fries was salty, burger was greasy. I tried some of my women's onion rings and they was hard, not fresh, and greasy. The onion ring was very hard I thought the milkshake was going to be good. How do you mess up on a milkshake the bathroom was filthy. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes Cheeseburger

Solid burgers! I’d like to think that Freddy’s is the Midwest’s alternative to In-N-Out burger. I definitely like them more than Culver’s butter burger as they don’t seem as greasy. The shoestring fries are also a good mixup to traditional fries you always get at fast food joints. Service Take out
This is a relatively new chain to this area, which already has Five Guys, Smashburger, Wahlburgers, and many local options in the fast/casual burger space. I visited the location in hyper-competitive Maple Grove, on a Wednesday afternoon. The restaurant is brightly lit (and painted) with lots of windows and a high ceiling, giving it a nice open, airy feeling. Ordered the California-style double steakburger meal, which comes with shoestring fries and a drink for a little under $10. The burger was pretty darned tasty - not too shabby for chain food. I found the fries to be too thin - eating them was kind of a fussy affair. Overall, I liked Freddy’s. I’d put it #2, behind Culver’s, which has more options, better fries (IMO), and faster service.
