The freshest and best quality seafood in LA County! The Peruvian Scallops were so fresh that they were sweet without any fishiness. The texture was like no raw scallop I've ever had. Lobster roll was solid, excellent fires served with ketchup and malt vinegar aioli. Clam chowder was also excellent. The portions were large enough which they'll happily split for you. We were very impressed with the flavourful seafood here! We got the Koshihikari rice and the salmon and both were phenomenal! Especially that rice dish it was super flavourful. Here you get very high quality seafood in a casual and comfy environment. Small place that can be hard to get into. This time we had an assortment from their collection of oysters which they change regularly based on where they source from. The Hamachi was teriffic that included a citrus sauce and guacamole. I had the diver scallops for my main. They were well braised on the outside and soft and buttery in the inside. Addorned with a few spicy Fresno chilis and beans. My wife had steamed mussels which were meaty but yet very soft. Not chewy at all, which sometimes happens with mussels. We used the chef’s homemade rolls to dip into some if the sauces. All excellent food. And good reccos from the staff. This is a pricey place, so dont let the casual atmosphere fool you. But walked away very satisfied. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Excellent sea food in this cozy joint in Manhattan beach. We showed up sans a reservation, they sat us at the bar .. we were able to catch up extensively with the bar tender and order the right appetizers and main course. Both the apps and main course fish are amazing to say the least. Irrespective of the price, this is the place to visit and savor the taste of their sea food concoctions .. true dynamite taste indeed. For such a small space, this place really packs a punch. The management and wait staff go above and beyond to take care of their customers. It was our first time, and they made us feel special, like we were regulars. The dishes were fantastic and service was impeccable. We would 100% come back next time we're in town. We scored a table on the sidewalk here for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny day & it was fantastic!! Our server was kind, knowledgeable and directed us where to explore both drink wise & food. Really cool restaurant with outstanding seafood and cocktails. I ordered the lobster roll with fries and it was so delicious. The bartender serving me was very pleasant and nice - he recommended a few cocktails that were unique and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back here in the future! We had very enjoyable lunch at Fishing with Dynamite. It is a small place in Manhattan Beach and at lunch time, the only tables available were outside in the sun. No shade. You need to make reservations well in advance to sit inside. It took a while to place our order, but not overly too long. After ordering, the food came out in a timely manner , and was very good. We ordered the Crab sandwich roll and the Maine Lobstah sandwich roll. ( note the Maine roll is cold and the Connecticut style roll is warm) Both were top notch delicious.
