I made a reservation to dine at Fin’s. I reserved a spot on outdoor patio. I had a great view. Staff were made aware of my 50th birthday. Staff were excited, and they wanted to celebrate. The manager had a few surprises to celebrate the occasion. I was very excited, happy, and totally surprised. I was given an opportunity to enjoy the views. Service was excellent by both Emily and Robert. Food I ordered were fresh fish tacos with a side. The tacos were delicious. They really went well above and beyond. Sharky’s had a long wait so we ended up at Finn’s and it was amazing! The lobster nachos were ridiculously delicious! The margarita I got was literally the best I have ever had! We love this place for the sunsets and good food. A more upscale restaurant on the Venice Beach Pier with great quality sushi and a great variety of other options for lunch & dinner. Started out with drinks and the fresh, warm bread with the 4 dips. Drinks were kind of pricey but they did make them pretty strong. The bread and dips were excellent and I normally don't eat too much bread but you couldn't stop with the yummy dips. The waitress, Brianna, was very very nice and very patient with me and my friend when we took several hours to order our food. We were having such a great time, the atmosphere was so nice, and it was directly in front of the beach. We finally ordered food and It was pretty good. My friend ordered the fried cod and french fries and I ordered the Swordfish tacos with the wild rice salad. She said the cod was pretty good, it was a huge serving. My swordfish tacos were okay, but the rice salad was pretty good. Overall, everything else was so nice that I would highly recommend them. Their lunch prices are fair but their drinks are a bit high. First time in town and was not disappointed! First off McKenzie started and ended the service with impeccable attention to detail. Focaccia and tapas very delicious and unexpected. Best olive tapenade I’ve had ever. Seafood chowder and oysters spot on! But the long bone Veal Chop was not only Stunning but kudos to the brigade chefs for sending a perfect cook at medium rare. Difficult to do!!! Ended taking pistachio cheesecake with me and the pistachio paint and white chocolate ganache finished it perfectly. It was a late supper and they treated me with the same respect and care as if I was the first of the day!!! Well done Fins staff I’ll be back. Hmmm maybe lunch?? And McKenzie thank you again for your 5 star service
