The food here was fabulous. The drinks were a bit sweet so I stuck to beer and wine. But OMG how fun is it to dip your toes in The ocean while you eat. Little fish were swimming by constantly and we even saw a stingray. Great place for lunch but they aren’t open for dinner and it’s best to reserve a table so you are in the lagoon.
We walked over to this location from the Hilton Moorea. The pina colada was amazing. You could tell they freshly squeezed the coconut milk. We split a double cheeseburger which was also delicious but pricey ($35 USD). Overall, great location and yummy food/drinks. Much better then the Hilton.
Food was delicious! Had the freshest fish and octopus caught of the day. Food prices are on a little bit of the higher end. Drinks were good and our server was amazing! We could even go and sit on the surf boards and drink and hang out. Great experience sitting in water, soaking our feet and dining.
Don't miss this spot if you are on Moorea. Worth the drive from anywhere on the island. The food is fresh, well seasoned and so fantastic we came 2 days in a row. Day 2 by kayak! We had the La Baume Sauvignon Blanc both times, a crisp white perfect for the White Fish Meuniere! Great value as well. We saw a black reef shark and had a ray come right up to the table while we were eating with our legs in the ocean. Lastly but most important the people running this spot are so warm/friendly/welcoming and they provided excellent service.
Our room was really rundown. Bad fluorescent lights, dark bathroom. Kitchen had almost no cooking supplies like knives, bowls or pots. Bed sheets were worn out, pillows almost non existent, curtains that didn’t fit windows. This place has seen better days. The free restaurant breakfast was basic but OK. But the cheeseburger and beer for $38 was ridiculous at lunch. The most expensive food we’ve found on island. Still, a good deal for a hotel. The ambiance at sunset though. Providing free kayaks for guests. That was beautiful and the only reason this place earned three stars from me.
This is a family run pension with friendly staff, set on a picturesque private beach. The fish swim right up to the shore, there are comfortable chairs and tables on the beach and a stunning view of the sunset each night. The accomodation is basic but clean. The restaurant has wonderful platters/tapas and an excellent drink selection. You need a vehicle to access the supermarket and ATM. We would return again.
We came for lunch and the food was so good and well priced. The place had a nice homey feels and the servers were wonderful. I liked that we could walk around on the beach and in the water while we waited for our food. We would absolutely come back.
Hotel was affordable, great location and has restaurant attached. The breakfast was just bread, croissants and coffee/tea. Dinner was amazing views but the food was just ok and overpriced. Worth going to once to experience dinner at sunset but would recommend trying other places that are better on the island.
We stayed at the hotel and tried the restaurant. For the price, the bungalow for 1-2 ppl is a great deal! Basic accommodation but everything you need. AC (which is rare), kitchenette, hot shower, breakfast included. Amazing ocean views just steps away, a sandy beach, and an amazing place to swim/snorkel. Yes the rooms could be a little updated but everything was clean and had what we needed.
For the restaurant, we were a little let down with the food taste/portion size but the view and ability to sit with your feet in the water and eat while watching the sunset is unmatched. Worth it for that unique experience. Servers are also very nice.
What a gem! The restaurant offered a limited but excellent selection of local fish, seafood and chefs specialties. A small, intimate restaurant on the beach with sunset views, a friendly house cat and checking your shoes at the mat on the way in made for a perfect night away from the resort!
