I was there for my aunt's 85th birthday and she loves it there. But I am so glad you saw this. I can't believe that I never went here before but I will definitely go back again. Went to a 70th birthday party lunch. Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful and the food was delicious. The staff even found some '70' candles to put on the cake we brought (because it had to be gluten free) and cut it up for us. Very pleasant afternoon. Been going here for generations. Last few times food wasn't great but this time put the nail in the Coffin. Took my wife out for Valentine's Day. Reservations were for 730. Had to sit and wait for 15 minutes because our table wasn't ready. Then once seated we ordered our drinks, apps, and entrees all in one go to save time and trips to the table, apps came out fine. Then around 840, 70 minutes after arriving, we're told they lost our ticket and they were remaking it. So at 8:55 our food finally comes out as we're the last couple sitting in the restaurant. No idea how it tasted I just packed it up in the box so I could eat my 70$ dinner tomorrow for lunch I guess. We only get out like twice a year. I won't be wasting my money or time here again, on top of babysitter money Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Had an hour wait to be seated but to be expected at a popular place on Saturday night but service was great as soon as we were seated even with a packed restaurant and food and drinks came quickly and the breaded seafood combo was amazing. haven’t been here in 20 years and place reminded me of my childhood. Every meal we've had here has been perfect. Always hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Chicken Parm, Sirloin Steak, Burgers, Chicken Cordon Bleu (platter and sandwich) and the beef barley soup. The sides are also so good...crisp salads, perfectly baked potatoes, mac and cheese, stewed tomatoes & more. I could go on and on. We just love the relaxing atmosphere, super friendly and efficient staff, GREAT PRICES (!) and super great food. We've been here several times over the last few months and will continue to make it our regular place to dine. Crowded, loud dining room, tables are very close together, many tables are wobbly (we put sugar packets under ours as surrounding patrons did as well). Our waitress was in training and was extremely friendly, she did well for her 3rd day on the job. Clam chowder was seasoned well, crab imperial was tasty. First time here on 4/29/23. My friend who is from the area highly recommended this place. Good seafood reasonably priced! My friend ordered the Broiled Seafood Combo. We shared Shrimp Scampi appetizer and Mussels. I had New England Clam Chowder, which hit the spot and broiled scallops and salmon with fries and green beans. Disappointed the green beans were can but wouldn't stop me from coming back. We both took a piece of peanut pie home and it was perfect! Dark inside and it appears the restaurant gets really busy with the local regulars. Wish they had outside dinning so i could bring my mom here.
