This is the second time we've worked with Zara for an event in the desert! We hired her for an elopement in Joshua Tree. She designed a custom Korean BBQ meal for the couple that was absolutely delish. The couple wanted to experience their meal in the way you would in a traditional Korean restaurant, so Zara cooked and plated the meal in front of them. It was a super cool experience that the couple raved about! Highly recommend!

Chef Zara created an unforgettable, custom wedding dinner for my clients. She and her team crafted every element with thought and heart. Each bite was out of this world delicious! She was mindful of the environment and impact at each step of our planning process and during the event, which was so important to us and the couple. Chef Zara was also so easy to partner with - sharing ideas with the couple, adding creative feedback, and finding great solutions. She was a joy to be with on the wedding day. She has a peaceful and intentional presence. We hope to work with Chef Zara again in the future!

Zara catered my wedding reception after our ceremony in Joshua Tree, and we couldn't have been more pleased or delighted with all the delicious food and spectacular cake. EPIC-urean is more like it. Highly, highly recommended.

We hired Zara for an elopement/wedding dinner for 16. She helped us build a custom menu based on our likes and accommodated a single vegan meal - by not just removing diary products, but by subbing incredible vegan options. It was so important for me for my vegan sister to share the dining experience with us and she said it was the best meal she's had in years! It was for us as well! Zara was so easy to work with and made herself at home in the kitchen, while we were in the backyard getting married. We wanted a private dining experience that felt special for the occasion and we couldn't be happier! The meal was absolutely incredible. Everyone was raving. I can't stop thinking about the potato terrine with rosemary aioli and caper berries! Zara also left the kitchen impeccably clean. I strongly recommend Epicurean Fling for a memorable and delicious special occasion meal.

I just hosted my 2nd retreat and I really wanted to create a delicious but cleansing experience for my guests. Zara was referred to me and she exceeded my expectations! Not only was the good DELICIOUS but the communication, delivery and portions were on point! I’m definitely requesting her again!

I hired Zara to cater my wedding in Joshua Tree. From the start Zara was so amazing to work with. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, and worked with me in the menu and the cake. The food was incredible! Even my meat eaters were blown away by the delicious menu. The cake was sublime, 3 tiers of deliciousness. The staff on the day of the wedding were professional, and worked extremely hard to make our day perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend Epicurean Fling for any event.

Zara prepared a very special dinner for my 30th birthday. The experience and Zara’s presence are what created such a beautiful night for my friends and I. The menu was filled with food that left us in awe of Zara’s CLEAR talent. The cake…I am not exaggerating….was the best cake I have ever had. Everything that night was so memorable and we had Zara to thank for that.

It’s not easy to find good eats in Joshua Tree. It’s a small town with thriving tourism and struggling artists. Epicurean Fling stands out not only because the food is ridiculously delicious, but the experience is always delightful. Chef Zara delivers the food herself and pays a great deal of attention to her beautiful preparations. My girlfriend and I have ordered from Epicurean Fling many times, as well as having enjoyed many events they have catered. I’ve posted a couple pics, but everything she makes ROCKS! So order and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
