This was my first time eating at Elmer's. The food is so good. The service was very good as well. Although the food tasted great, my eggs were poached hard instead of easy on my eggs benedict. My server noticed that the eggs were not cooked properly for this dish and offered to fix it but I opted not to because it was busy and they were short on staff. She took a couple of bucks off, which was fine. I'm looking forward to going back. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is probably the best breakfast place in all of Douglas County, not just Roseburg! We visit about twice a year from Texas and make sure we stop by at least once each trip. Today was on our way back to the airport, but we made it!!

I was helped by Thunder who was very sweet and helpful the whole time. I was checked on by other staff as well to ensure I was taken care of. The establishment was very clean and the food was amazing, I had the Strawberry Crepes. I was just passing through on my way to California and I’m happy I stopped here. Today I gave the Roseburg Elmer's another try. I had been disappointed in the past because the hash brown potatoes were anything but brown. I expressed to my server that I wished the potatoes to be crisp and the bacon crisp as well. The food arrived and the potatoes were brown about three mm on the surface and nearly raw between the veneer of cooked material. They were, for me, uneatable. The bacon was flaccid, greasy and cold as were the eggs. Elmer's is primarily a breakfast spot and it seems reasonable to expect that they could successfully complete a plate of bacon and eggs as requested. The service was very fast on what I thought would be a busy Sunday morning breakfast. I entered the lobby with 2 groups ahead of me and was told 10 minutes wait, but the nice lady searched the seating area & returned to seat each group ahead of me in booths and then ask me if I would take a table, which I agreed since I was in a hurry. On the way to a table she spotted a newly cleaned booth and seated me there. My waitress (Brittani) dropped off a menu and returned within a minute or two with my water and I placed my order in record time without waiting after selecting my menu choice. Food came quickly in about 5 minutes & was nice and hot and very delicious. The hash browns were much better than I expected. I'll be sure to stop in on my next trip through town. A very quick & easy off & on the freeway since the restaurant borders the freeway at the on & off exits for both north & south bound directions. Plus quick stop for gas nearby. This is one of the best places to eat in the pacific northwest. The service is always good and the food is even better. Breakfast Lunch Dinner you would not be disappointed. Cute little spot when stopping along the way. They are super busy all the time since they are right off the freeway. Maybe a low service review will help get more help hired. Food was good EXCEPT the waitress brought fries for a toddler, who immediately reached for one, and didn't caution the plate or fries were hotter than Arizona and set it down right infront of him. Had a good experience here. Had the fish and chips, and it was very good. The decor needs some updating, but it was clean. The service was friendly and fast. They have a good size menu, so I will return to try out some other things. They have chicken and waffles. I will have this next time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
