El Paseo has been my favorite ever since the first time I went there as a teenager. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have the best fajitas. We have always had A+ service. We really wish the Keller location was still around though. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Seasoned Chips and Salsa

I had reviews About this restaurant and it was convenient to our location. We are lunch and the restaurant was not packed, but this restaurant has been around for a long time and locals visit it daily. The service was great our waiter was wonderful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. The restaurant is an old house that was converted. We had Enchiladas with sour cream sauce. One of our party had the spinach entree and one of us had the chicken. I liked the chicken because it did not appear to be stewed. They season the chips with some kind of seasoning salt and surprisingly they were not overly salting tasting. Also, the Salsa is really good. Not so hot that you can't eat it. If you are in the Fort Worth area I strongly suggest that you try this place. Great Mexican food! Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. I had the beef enchiladas and the chili con carne tasted homemade. Had a little spice to it and loved it. The salsa is great with a little heat. The wife had nachos, and other guests had fajitas for 2. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. See photos. I will definitely be back here again. I’m not too fond on Mexican food, but this place was exceptional. I always judge a Mex. restaurant on the chips and salsa , and the chips were amazing! I shared a plate of Combo Fajitas and only ate 1 taco. Not to say they weren’t good but the beans were great! Didn’t care for the rice, (too much comino for me). My server, Alvaro was very pleasant and attentive. We finished off with the cheesecake chimichangas, and they topped off the meal! Kids loved it, so we will definitely come back to try something different!

Service was absolutely perfect, took 2 min to get chips salsa and our waiter to take our drink order. Waiter was extremely professional and proactive. Drinks were always full, food took less than 10 mins to come out and this was at 5:30 on a Friday night. Food was fresh, hot and full of flavor. It’s 15 miles from my home but when I want good Mexican food I will definitely make the drive. Well worth the $ and quality. Best tex-Mex I've had in a while. I cleaned my plate! I enjoyed the queso and then a combination platter including one of their chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce and a tamale with a chili con Carne. The chips had a seasoning on them and were the perfect start. The polo mexicana platter was equally delicious and there classic taco platter. they're Spanish rice is by far the top side ahead of any restaurant thus far in Texas. The restaurant is pretty super clean. The quesadillas were lacking and cheese, but the meat is wonderful. Next time I would opt out of quesadillas and eat the fajitas. The steak was top quality with great flavor. The staff was super sweet a great environment for a nice margarita on a lazy afternoon or after work Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chips and Queso

My wife and I were one of the original customers here in the mid 80s. It was good then but even better now . At 3:30 in the afternoon we were greeted as we entered and were promptly sedated . Ordered margaritas that were excellent. Aldo was our server. He was helpful in selecting meal. Did not rush us nor over attentive. Food was served promptly and was fresh and hot. A little pricey but the serving was huge. Brought a serving home. Definitely worth driving for it. Go hungry. Hope you have as good an experience as we did. UPDATE Enjoyed an excellent lunch along with the test of the emergency alert system on Wednesday. We were greeted as entered, seated immediately and served chips as we sat down. Angel was our server. Took our order for margaritas 🍹, they only have 1 size, large. Not only was it delicious, but priced for any budget. Ten lunch specials were priced at $8.99 and serving size was more like higher priced dinner plate. Everything was perfect. Best Tex-Mex in the metroplex. I'm going to start by saying that this review would have gotten 3 stars but our waitress Michelle was amazing so it bumped it up a star. Pros: -The service was amazing (Michelle), food came out quick, and we always had chips, salsa, and water. - good atmosphere - large variety on the menu -affordable -the food was mostly very good. I loved their chips and salsa -again, the service was awesome so I need to mention that again. Cons: -we ordered two steak a La Mexicana meals and for some reason one was cooked different than the other. Mine was more "boiled" texture and the other was more charred (grilled) flavor. The inconsistency was weird there. -Shrimp quesadilla had a lot of cheese. Even for someone who likes cheese there was a lot of cheese. -Flautas were really really burnt on the ends but the inside was delicious. -Verde sauce tasted too earthy for me. Overall, I would come here again but saying it's the best Mexican food I've ever had would be a stretch. But I loved the atmosphere, service, and the food was pretty good.
