Clean friendly and beautiful place. Food was all terribly bland. Guac bland, beans bland. Colorado spicy and tender but bland. Carnitas burrito with verde bland. But sauce was ok. Carnitas inside was good. Tortilla soup was ok just not my style so can’t fault them there . Just overall not impressed with the food. Bad way to spend 80 with tip

The food here is really tasty and the dishes are huge! I try to order new dishes and so far everything has been tasty. The guac is soooo good and the pico is super 😋

Bean Dip
We saw Fortaleza had been replaced by El Gallo, so we stopped in to give it a try. The interior was not changed. All tables and decor remained from Fortaleza. Ordered a shrimp enchilada and a combo plate. Both were good. Salsa was above average, and service was normal. They were not busy, so a crowed restaurant was not in the equation. I heard this is their second restaurant. So,. the new restaurant scenario should not exist. Overall, it was not impressive, but we will return.
It's been a few years now, and El Gallo is still serving great Mexican food. The service is superb, and we have not had to wait for a table ever, even on a Friday night. The restaurant is large, and they have a large outdoor uncovered patio, so weather permitting. I love their Carnitas and Shrimp Enchiladas. You are served chips and large, wonderful salsa and black bean bowls upon seating. There is a full bar. Most all seats are at tables, both high and normal, which I
prefer. Prices are fair to low. We recommend.

We eat here often and absolutely love it. I went in tonight and got some street tacos for my wife and as always the food is amazing and the staff really goes over and above. Definitely our favorite spot to eat. I highly suggest it to anyone.
