Unfortunately the lumpia shanghai were so not delicious. The crispy pork was unflavored/not seasoned and greasy and I would guess yesterday's crispy pork. Unfortunately I was really looking forward to some of grandma's cooking and I got my crazy uncles cooking at best. I'm so bummed. Even the garlic rice was disappointing. We wandered in just cuz it looked cool and it knocked it out of the park. While we decided what to order they gave us samples of their chicken jalapeño lumpia and chatted with us. We got the mixed mini lumpia, pork skewers, BBQ Bulgogi Bao, crab lumpia and a coconut smoothie. All of it was so incredibly good. I can’t wait to go back - we’ll definitely dine in next time. My daughter and I came in accidentally today looking for something completly different. Alex offered us a sample and gained 2 new customers in the process just due to his hospitality alone The jalapeno chicken eggrolls were very awesome! I probbably am going to order 20 next time.
