I have to say i was impressed with East Ocean during our visit a couple of days ago. I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. We have generally gone to another Chinese restaurant closer to our home, but this is only a few minutes further and will become our new place. The spring rolls there are hand made to order and are very fresh and crispy, I asked for a recommendation on two dishes I was considering and our waitress recommended a completely different dish and said that the one she recommends would have more spice and more flavor, she wasn't wrong it was terrific. They also have a number of house made items like kimchi there as well, overall i would say we really enjoyed our food and staff, and found that they prepared items fresh, not from frozen like other restaurants we have been to, I am looking forward to returning and trying something new from their large menu. We were shopping in the area and decided to stop here for lunch… and we’re so glad we did! Food was delish- the best almond boneless chicken, great egg rolls and wonton soup, a surprising General Tso’s lo mein, and excellent fried wontons. Service was friendly and efficient.
