It was crowded but we didn't have long to wait. It's a tippical diner. The food was delicious, like down home cooking. The portions were large, and I've never seen such huge biscuits! Our server was pleasant and attentive. Restroom was nice & clean. I'll recommend the Downtown Diner to friends. Traveling on bicycle through Florida and stopped here for breakfast. My travels have been many and this diner ranks in the top. Friendly, courteous, quick service is the trifecta of customer satisfaction. The food was excellent and generous portions prepared perfectly. Coffee cup never empty. So let's say a stop like this gets an old bicyclist ready for the day. A true joy!! If traveling down US 1 make the Downtown Diner a must stop. You Titus folks already know this. . Busy diner with typical breakfast fare plus lunch menu. Tuesday @ 11:00 waited 10 min for a table. Place was packed but the kitchen was keeping up okay. Took a little while to get service at the table and food sat in window for about 5 minutes. It’s really hard to mess up breakfast so it came out okay. Prices are reasonable. Great breakfast! The home fries were homemade as was the hash browns. Eggs were fluffy scrambled and the sausage was delicious. Our server was perfect! We sat at the low bar area. Loved it!
