What a throw back place with really good pancakes! The kindest waitress, Heather, helped us with local places to go to. The prices were very reasonable for the portion. Stopped here with a group of 5 before heading to the airport to end our vacation. The staff greeted us kindly and let us put our baggage in the storage room while we sat for 2 hours. Small diner where you can feel like a local. Loved the Philly sandwich and husband enjoyed his club sandwich. Very reasonable prices and the staff was warm and friendly. This was an awesome place we stopped at to grab a bite before we went to the airport. Friendly customer service, good food, and listen to the recommendations the waiter/waitresses gives you. I got the seafood omelet (Amazing) that came with hasbrowns or grits (I got the grits) and toast or biscuit ( I got the biscuit). It was really filling and worth it. I also got the cheese fries, but had to add some ketchup for a little more sodium. All in all, hard working team that works well together from a customer's perspective. Very cute 50's diner. Seating options of booths, tables, and classic bar stools. I tried the daily special which was a meat ball sandwich but I elected for hash browns. Great atmosphere. Temp was a little warm sitting in the booths across from the flat top grill. Food was excellent and well seasoned... The bread was very good too. Hash browns were perfectly cooked. This diner is a must visit whenever I'm in town now! We decided to come here because I saw shrimp and catfish on the menu and everyone else wanted breakfast. Everyone was overjoyed with their food!! The catfish and shrimp left nothing to be desired, it was flaky and moist and fried to perfection. Tender sausage and even more tender biscuits and gravy made me homesick for a grandma I never had. 😅 Thank you Heather for making it a perfect dining experience!!
