This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've visited. Being from Baton Rouge my husband and I love Superior Grill. Don Jose's Grill was delicious. We had a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed their food. We will definitely visit again when we are in Kenner. We highly recommend 😋. Great Food, awesome service, wonderful experience. I would eat here again and would recommend it to anyone. The flank steak was the most flavorful flank steak I've ever tasted. Not what I was expecting at all. Every mouthful of this was bliss for me. Didn't have enough room to finish off the salsa and chips which were also tasty! Bacon guacamole! It’s my new favorite food group. We stopped by for dinner on a Thursday evening, and were shocked and amazed by the delicious food. Margaritas were also fantastic. Back to the bacon and guacamole that they serve to you with pork rinds as your chips. Delicious. It was a very healthy serving of guacamole, covered in crisp, bacon, and a lot of bacon . My husband had the beef nachos and we also shared I think margaritas that were two for one. And they weren’t the sweet, sugary icky margaritas. Ok so the food was ok. i ordered a vegetarian quesadilla. it wasn’t the best but i would maybe try it again. the fries had nothing on them no salt no nothing. it looked pretty. but the bathroom stalls had a lock that could be opened from Both sides and you could look through. the people there were nice though Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes Cheese Dip

Came here about a year and a half ago and honestly needed to review it to remind myself that I need to come back. We landed at this restaurant by chance, and it was amazing. From the drinks to the food to the vibe, all really good. Highly recommend. There are so many options on the menu and they have pictures which is huge for me and anyone who is visual (also the reason why I post so much). Great for families or larger groups as there is lots of space with larger tables.

Got the Margherita flight, Mexican corn, chciken fajitas, and sampler. Food was good except the chili relleno, which tasted like spinach with a processed cheese sauce. Ground beef seemed to be a lesser quality, as did the shredded cheese. Yet, the waitstaff was wonderful, and food came out quickly. The restaurant is fairly large and has a great ambiance. I did notice that the "suggested tip" at the bottom of the receipt was wrong. The "1" was missing. If someone purely went on the suggested tip listed on the receipt and didn't do the math, they would be short changing the waitress significantly. For example, on my $78 bill, the suggested tip was $2.48 , which isn't even 10%. I brought this to the attention of the restaurant, but please do the math if you come here. Food is amazing!!!! We stopped at Don Jose's for dinner and had a great time here! Loved everything from salsa and chips to the chicken fajita. Chicken fajita was sizzly and melt in the mouth yummy! Will definitely visit here the new time we are at New Orleans! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I decided to stop and get lunch from this location. I have visited this location before in the past and did not remember what my experience was. We got there as soon as they opened and were the first customers. The waitress was nice polite and very helpful. The food did not taste bad. I was somewhat disappointed with the amount of sides we got and not enough of the main course for example we received a lot of rice and beans but very little chicken and steak. In the photo it appears as if there’s a lot going on but underneath the chicken and steak was a bunch of onions and bell peppers. I do understand that prices are really high and restaurants need to cut cost where they can however I would rather pay more to get what I’m looking for. I would return to this location overall it was not a bad experience.
