Oh my gosh! The lady that was at the counter was so rude to us! My friend and I only speak English, though we are respectful and obviously don't expect anyone to speak English, though we do ask if they do, if not we work it out. My friend had asked the lady if she spoke English, she just stuck her nose up, huffed and puffed, gave some shocking looks and turned away. We then just asked if we could have a menu, we can then google translate if it's not in English, the lady again made some noises, a lot of comments we obviously didn't understand, gave us so much attitude it was disgusting. She then got a menu and kind of threw it down on the counter. We left after that, there was no way we were going to give that place our $$$. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The lunch offer is more expensive than in most of other places in the city, the food is processed and reheated in microwave. Most of the workers are russian speaking and the chat really loudly in the kitchen so the already non-existing atmosphere is broken by kitchen talks in russian. It's a low quality food place in a medium to high price range. Sauce was served in a plastic takeaway cup 😭 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

We went to have a nice dinner but not even going to lie, I regret it A LOT. The pasta was microwaved, cold in the inside and hot on the outside. I wouldn’t pay 6€ for it. The pasta was in a weird soup, smelled really bad. The paintings are nice on the wall. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €5–10

I stayed here for a few hours reading and had a pleasant time. Regular coffee and extremely tasty cakes cost €1,2. Staff is quite kind and helpful. I even had a pasta here for about €5,5. It was delicious though a bit cold. You can only eat pizzas here and many other things for a very competitive price. Definitely recommend!

This "restaurant" deserves zero stars. We ate here 3 years ago and we're pleasantly surprised, so decided to visit it during this vacation in Ventspils again. We arrived at 17.30 and ordered 2 small pizza's, baked chicken fillet and baked fish fillet with French fries. The staff told that these simple meals would be ready AFTER 2,5 hours because it was too busy ! The restaurant was empty, we were the only guests. We just left without eating and do not intend to return. It surprises me that Dolce Vita is not bankrupt yet. Their menu is fine, location is good too, but nobody speaks English and it takes them hours to make a mini pizza.

We ordered pizza with a selection of meat, cost 5.80 eur for quite a large pizza. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. One of the best pizza places in Ventspils.
