It has been 12 years since my last visit and still was not disappointed in any manner. Still love this place. Been coming since 80’s. Rick shrimp still rock and crab legs are amazing. PS...the key lime pie is still amazing as well! ( don't have pic of it, ate to fast ) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time at this restaurant. Our server, Hannah, was awesome and so were the other two who helped out. The atmosphere was nice and the food we ordered was good except the bun was a tad wet because of the grilled chicken. Also, enjoyed the complimentary corn fritters. I haven't been to this place in at least 15 years, and it was all of the seafood nostalgia I expected and more. Paul was our server and so very helpful in ordering and making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend making this stop or even a special trip for it! Service was excellent! Staff was very friendly, welcoming and super helpful! The place was completely packed with loads of people waiting but the wait for a table really didn't take long at all. The gator, lobster, rock shrimp and scallops were fantastic! Highly recommend! I was traveling solo and probably couldn't have arrived at a worse time, 6 o'clock on a Saturday night. The place was absolutely packed with a lit of people waiting outside for a table. I was told there would be a 50 minute wait, so I took my buzzer and went outside to the turtle pond. There was a great blue heron just hanging out next to the pond. He was between 2 plastic alligators, so it took a minute to realize he was real. My wait was actually only about 15 minutes to my delight. Also a bowl of hot corn fritters arrived with my ice tea and they were delicious. I ordered a crab cake, Cole slaw and shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were ok but the crab cake was, hands down, the best I've ever had. If you are searching for a piece of old school, Florida, stop because this is it. That's exactly what you will find. The minute you walk in the door... old school paneling, big tables for family style dining, fast service in friendly folk. This restaurant is all about seafood, with a focus on several types of shrimp. They offer lots of options for cooking style, from grilled to fry and a lot in between. They serve complimentary corn fritters but they're dusted with confectionery sugar. That was a first for me. This restaurant has been a family favorite for decades, hopefully it will become yours as well.
