If you are visiting the Wildlife World Zoo and you get hungry during your visit AND you are at the very back of the Zoo when hunger strikes you, please please do me, and you, a favor and walk all the way to the front of the Zoo to eat at Dillon's. We started to order food at the Safari Burger place at the Zoo. When I was done and about to place the order to pay, the total was $85 (3 adults and 2 kids, one kid is 2 years old) for our food, which included drinks with no refills. My wife and I cancelled the order and walked to Dillon's where we all ate for $79. Now granted it wasn't that much of a difference, but for the price we were paying, we chose quality at the same price as opposed to a thin burger patty that I could get at McDonalds. Dillon's quality of food is worth the price, Safari Burger is not. Everytime we visit the Zoo, we always eat at Dillon's and will continue to do so. The shark tank is awesome and the grandkids loved it! The food is always top notch, who doesn't love some good BBQ! Eating next to the sharks is awesome!! Prices are a bit expensive, but expected at the wildlife park. I ordered a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and a baked potato. It was pretty good. Our table also had the wings a mac and cheese burger. Portions are large. You can either sit inside with the fish or outside with the flamingos! My daughter and I love the experience. Food is mediocre... Nothing to brag about, overpriced, a lot reheated I believe but it's really all about the experience here. You pay for for subpar food but you are really paying for the experience. This was so great sitting next to the big tank. My 19 month old son loved watching the fish and the sharks go by. The staff were so friendly. The food was amazing. My son loved the fries. My whole family enjoyed the BBQ. Good food and fun family atmosphere to do with kids. Good place to eat after a long day at the zoo. Restraunt is nice it has fish tanks and loved the seating options they had. You are able to sit in the bar section or outside and enjoy the zoo, especially the flamingo section or the dining area. We chose the outside patio (no smell from the flamingo section). The weather was great, and the view was nice. Service was good but slow. The food was delicious, and I honestly recommend it. The price is decent. Always a great time at Dillon's! We had a 10 minute wait, but got great seats!Great sammitches, the appetizers are super tasty, the service is always friendly and personable. A great date-night restaurant & also a great place to take the kids! Not too pricey, and an atmosphere you cannot beat anywhere else! Definitely a repeatable experience! Sat at the bar because I was alone. The bartender was my server and the server for the entire bar area. She was efficient and friendly. I tried the sweet spicy sauce on the side for my burnt ends. I think I should have got a sample of each for variety. Football on the tv and flamingos just off the patio and great aquariums for being in the desert. A few of the burn ends were mostly fat but the rest tender. I got broccoli that was cooked perfectly and a smaller blue cheese wedge salad with ice tea that was refreshing. The atmosphere was calm and the servers were hospitable. The food was overwhelmingly delicious. If you love BBQ I highly recommend giving this place a try before visiting the zoo. You can walk off the food. Try to leave room for dessert. We didn't get to try the desserts. Such a fun restaurant. The environment is great, the service is quick, the food is delicious, and best of all you get to see zoo animals while eating dinner! The patio is right next to the flamingo pen and the inside of the restaurant is a giant aquarium. Such a fun place for anyone. Definitely a must visit for out of towners and locals! Great staff and great food! We are here after going through out the zoo. The dining area is attached to the tank with sharks and fish which is super cool for the kids! The prices are pretty alright for the taste and quality. I had the turkey club sandwich and the turkey was very tasty and had a moist texture to it. I got Mac and cheese as the side and it was a pretty basic tasting Mac n cheese. Overall not a bad meal and I would eat here again. The staff are all super nice and attentive!
