I stopped in almost by accident at 7am on a Saturday and was delighted to discuss Denica's. Lots of Hawaiian-included menu options and great daily specials. Good coffee, good service cafe style. Prices were higher than I thought but you get an absolute mountain of food and you get it fast. I ordered the King Kamehameha Loco Moco and it was no joke 3 eggs and at least 1.5 lbs of beef. I ate half and took the leftovers (pictured) home. Good spot for teens or hungry dads.

Omg, so so so delicious. I ordered the Avo Toast with a fried egg. Perfect for light savory meal with room for a sweet treat. Ended up leaving with the Passionfruit Supreme Croissant, it tasted even better than it looked. If you like coffee with cream no sugar try the Spanish Latte, they add just enough condense milk to NOT make it too sweet. The hubby ordered the Big Kahuna Sammich, also sooooo delish with perfectly crispy potatoes. My daughter had me take home some Big Boy Crepes, so decadent. A little pricey but overall a meal that did not disappoint.

It's an order at the counter place. The line can get long and then you need to scour for a table which can be hard to find. Finally, you might need to ask someone to come wipe the table down. Personally, it's a bit exhausting early in the morning. It's also the way the place is laid out. You have to push past people to get your waters, the poor ventilation, the smell from outside, etc. It's not the biggest deal though if the food was worth it.
They sell brunch classics and beverages with some dishes being twists on modern classics. They have a myriad of bakery items you can purchase as well. It seems like a cute mom and pop shop but the prices are exorbitant. For example, their house scramble sets you back $20. The Dublin Loco Moco - $28, shrimp sticky rice - $29. Drinks are expensive too, the flavored lattes are $8. I am not mad about it but there are better options at this price in literally chiller environments where the water dispenser isn't always nearly empty. I also rarely see such expensive entrees at a place where you bus your own tables.
