The Dandy itself is great. However, there is one particular employee I seem to encounter often that makes me think twice about stopping. I just moved to the area and often finding myself stopping for pizza after work (9:45-10:15pm). I understand it’s late, you’re ready to go home, but I don’t understand how one person can be so miserable. From slamming items on the counter to tapping her fingers to rush us along and making comments like, “I’m working on it,” when I ask to enter my rewards number. She genuinely makes me feel like an inconvenience. Completely unprofessional.
Why is there soda in your cooler that expired on Dec 4th when it is Dec 13th. It's been expired in there well over a week. Seems like it would be someone's job to be checking for that stuff. If soda is expired what else there are you letting go.
Well we had to have a very late dinner so we went to the dandy. I want to say that Brittney and Dez at the Mehoopany Dandy made us some of the best food I have gotten from there in a while. So thank you both.
This place is going down hill fast. Service sucks and food is either hard as a rock or raw. The place is always dirty like if it was abandoned. Place needs to be condemned.
What a dirty little local dump! Bathrooom is gross. Food is awful. The staff is ignorant and rude. They should be paid min wage. The clerks aren't worth 9$ an hr. Doesn't Mehoopany have a health inspector?
I normally stop here every day on my way to work to grab fuel, red bull, and a breakfast sandwich, however over the past month this store has gone to absolute trash, the red bull cooler ( and Pepsi and coke for the matter) has been empty of all the original red bull and when asking an employee if I could get one from the back of the cooler they say there are none, even though you can look through the cooler door and see no less than 10 cases stacked up in the back unopened. There's also never any food made in the store anymore and the hot cases sit empty. My morning commute now begins 20 minutes earlier so I can drive to the other end of town to a store that actually stocks their coolers and shelves.
Edit: I decided to give this place another try after being informed it was under new management, and well I can say I'll gladly be continuing to drive the extra 20 minutes to avoid this place. After stopping in f9r the last 7 days to give the place a feel here is what I've learned: 1. The new management is just as incapable as the old 2. There is no priority placed on stocking the shelves, over half of the store shelves and coolers sit empty for days on end, not because there's no product ( you can see cases of product stacked everywhere in the store not getting put up). 3. Being sober and working here do not go hand and hand, last visit the cashier was intoxicated to the point they stood staring at the register mouth hanging open and eyes red as a coke can, for about 5 minutes untill another employee came up and finished checking me out. 4. Nobody here is able to make food properly, order a cheese steak and thats exactly what you get, just with uncooked meat and cheese that's not even melted, order an Italian sub, wet bread with meat, order fries " ooh were still out of them".
Ultimately this place is a joke and needs some serious intervention, if I was the owner and saw the condition of this place heads would be rolling. Avoid at all cost if you need anything more than gas, and even then I recommend avoiding it so the money can go to a more deserving establishment.
There is this manager who works in the a.m. I think her name is Linda. She makes going in there uncomfortable and she is rather rude. The assistant manager though is a doll and is very welcoming. As are most of the staff save for Linda who is very unfriendly.
Waiting 30 minutes for a pizza, for a maskless employee to apologize say they forgot, then we proceeded to wait for the pizza because they apologized and offered to reduce the price. Had to wait an additional 25-30 minutes.
