I was treated to dinner by our manufacturer company. I had never been to this place before and I can tell you other than the wait time I was not disappointed at all. But they do have couches you can sit on while waiting and trust me you do not want to get up oven you’ve sat down. I had a steak 🥩 and hot potato 🥔 very very delicious!!! Service is pretty good but sometimes the wait for seating can be a little long... Not sure they even use the 2 person tables very much since they almost always seem open but we've never been seated at one. Enjoy most of the menu but the prime rib and ribeyes seem to have lost something over the last year... Maybe different cows? Different chefs/cooks? My first and probably last time in Tulare, but it was good enough after a long day. Service definitely could have been better and more attentive, but we had a large party and tipped well anyway. Came in last night around 4:30 with a party of 8. Our waitress took about 20 min to even come get our drink & app order. She offered to bring us waters, never once asked if we would like drinks. So then waited about another half hour after dropping our bread and waters off to get our orders. The food came and 2 of our people did not even get their food! The other 6 of us were waiting to eat because that is the whole reason we went to a restaurant was to eat together and enjoy each others company. I’m not kidding when I say it took about 35-40 mins for them to get their food, we had to track the waitress down to ask about it. By the time their food came out, ours was cold, my steak was hard and not cooked the way I had asked. My baked potato had cold butter on it that was lumpy, meaning my potato wasn’t even hot enough to melt the butter that was on it. Worst service of my life. The couple that had waited for their food had asked if they could possibly get it comped or some kind of compensation for the service, they were told they could get 50% off and a desert. The waitress said she would put in for a brownie Sunday thing, then comes back 20 min later to ask if that’s what they wanted? So another long wait. Our waitress seemed to either be drunk or under the influence of something else because she was terrible. She was unfocused, forgetful, and terrible at her job. Our checks came, we all promptly gave our cards and she took about another 20 mins with our cards…. Mind you, the restaurant was not busy, I spoke to the manager about this and nothing was comped.. Love the staff, food, and prices! The appetizers, beans, and bread are excellent! Had the chicken fried steak, potatoes, and corn. Very yummy! This place will not disappoint!

It has that wild west theme. Sat at the bar top for early dinner. The steak and bake is really good. The chicken pot pie soup was mediocre. Could've been a little thicker with maybe some salt and pepper. Also came out with bread and bean which is good also. The Libations were made pretth well by the Bartender but as for checking up they really didnt check on me at all. But other than that I would go back. 1st time visit for my dad's birthday. Wanted to take him to a cowboy-ish western looking place. Food is pricey but delicious. Friendly and Attentive Staff. When asking about the menu, lots of info given about the meal of your choice. We'll described to help you choose best of what your craving. I love the Western feel to it. Definitely matched my dad's style and taste. My kids had fun also. Great place. Definitely will be back!

Hadn't been here in awhile. Came with my family to celebrate Father's with my husband and son. And some other family members. Took a little bit to get a seat because it was buzy. We sat in the bar area so we could get seated quicker. The tables were real small so we had to split up in 2 tables. They were very buzy and our poor waitress was hustling to wait on her customers. She needed more help. She did a great job. It took awhile to get our food, but it was hot and delicious. Thank you Emily. Hope they get you more help. I’m not that big of a horseradish fan, but it goes well with Prime Rib. The horseradish options were unbelievable and covered the spectrum of tastes quite well. The Prime Rib really is legendary!! I ate here twice on my trip, and both times had nothing but lovely things to share about the service and quality of food. Decent prices too, especially considering the portion size and quality of the food. This place is a must visit in Tulare!
