Mexican cuisine under the direction of the great chef is wonderful at this place. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters offer nicely cooked fried prawns, fried fish and fish fried rice here. Taste good beer or delicious margaritas, it's a must while visiting this restaurant. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. Most guests mention that the staff is cute here. A number of people think that the service is prompt. Prices are found adequate here. You will certainly appreciate the peaceful ambiance. Ordered food by phone and come to find out they don't even start cooking or preparing the food until you pay. The point of ordering over the phone is to have it ready by the time to pick up and just get there to pay. Service is horrible. The girls don't seem to not pay attention to what you say asked for SWEET TEA and the lady wants to give me a tea with no sugar. If they didn't have it just say and I wouldn't have to keep telling her I wanted a sweet tea. Service Take out

Times have definitely changed. I wanted to enjoy this caldo de mariscos more, and I did- after I enjoyed some rice to go with my soup. The shrimp are mini popcorn shrimp and it was a surprise to me. I would rather pay a few more dollars to get something fresh. The staff is very attentive and friendly. I do not think I will be choosing Connie’s over other great seafood restaurants in the area. I had not been back TO CONNIES in awhile 😕. Today had dinner there ,watching the super bowl. FOUND A LONG BLACK STRAND OF HAIR IN THE "HOUSE SPECIAL RICE". 🤮🤮🤮. After that, we just didn't enoy our dinner. I then notified the waitress. Paid my check, and spoke with manger, told her I wasn't looking for a free meal, just to have her kitchen staff wear hair nets, I pointed out that the staff preparing orders to go were not wearing nets, her reply; " the kitchen staff does wear them".... I'm not a city health inspector, but shouldn't all employees handling food, should be wearing them?.....her final comment; basically was, "hair in food tends to happen every now and then". Like she really didn't understand the the severity of the hair in the food.🤮🤦🏻‍♂️.CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT IT. Cheap prices and clean environment. The food is decent, and you get a lot of it. This place is probably the cleanest place I've seen in the area. The staff is attentive and friendly. Speaking Spanish is a plus here but not required. The staff will speak English when asked and the menu is also in English. The biggest issue is that the parking area is small and shared with other businesses. The food was disgusting! Definitely not worth $65 for 2 people. Dry rice, overdone shrimp, bland fish, side salad is a joke. Fried calamari was overcooked, and just gross. Our waitress was over worked while younger waitresses just lounging at the front. Long wait time for horrendous food. Restroom was just as bad. Yuk!! Our 2nd time at this location and it was definitely not as good as our 1st experience. Calamari was ehhhh, wouldn't recommend. The fried rice seemed dry, over cooked and with no flavor. The fried rice is amazeballs. Love to get the special fried rice with everything on it. The service is rather slow or they go to every1 else but me, even when not busy. Food is always amazing though. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

I ordered the 3 piece fried catfish. These pieces are so small. One piece is about the size of a McDonald's chicken nugget, maybe 2 inches long if even that long. I am very disappointed. They probably did that because it was a To Go Order. I doubt they would serve that in the restaurant.

Gotta get here as soon as they open cause it'll start getting packed within 30min. 6 months pregnant & their good is amazing 🤤 hubby says their micheladas are 🔥🔥🔥 our waitress was on point. Not a single complaint. Definitely coming back.
