Wat een geweldige plek! Wij zijn hier met Kerst geweest. Super lekker gegeten, mooie inrichting en fijne sfeer en super aardig personeel. Ontzettend fijn dat er een goed aanbod is voor niet alcoholische drankjes! En top dat de tafels groot zijn en je niet te dicht op elkaar zit. Tot slot fijn dat er zo’n informele sfeer is en het niet te stijfjes is. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Don’t expect a typical lunch/coffee place or bites, you can only select the number of dishes you would like to order 3-4-5 courses then they will suprise you with the food. Service was great, food is interesting , some dishes are very delicious and some are just strange. Overall different but nice experience. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

This restaurant only deserves a two because of the location. A few of us had lunch here and did really not enjoy the bread. It didn’t taste fresh and the food was overpriced. The eggs we had were tasteless and overcooked. The croquettes were very underwhelming and expensive, served with the same dry bread. I will not be coming here again for lunch.

My wife and I met our extended Dutch family three times at Kom Eten (in Spring, Summer and Fall). A charming restaurant! The food was always well prepared. A wide selection of beers and wine were available. The service was first rate, especially for our group of 16 or more. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating during the Summer, sipping beers and relaxing along the Kromme Does canal.

If you plan to visit Holland go to the quaint village of Hoogmade and and enjoy an incredible culinary experience combined with a remarkably romantic environment at Kom Eten. Be sure to get a table on the back porch overlooking the dyke. You will find the highest quality ingredients creatively assembled in dishes that will make your mouth water. The staff are so friendly, helpful and gracious. If I ever make it back to Hoogmade I will come back here without question. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Don’t take my word for it, go see, taste and feel for yourself.

Friendly staff, but he food is just ok despite higher price and small portion. €30 for 3 course meal. The main courses come with a bowl of chips, but it is for 4 persons to share, when asking for refill, they said we can, but we were charged for it. We would much prefer De Kromme Does.

Great place to stop off during a bicycle ride and have a tasty lunch if uitsmijter or brood met kroketten. Lovely view from the terras, friendly staff.
