Stopped in on the advice of a fellow traveler on a plane ride from Chicago. The place is clean and the atmosphere at lunch was quite busy. The pizza was delicious!I had meat lovers, the red sauce was really good. My nephew had mild chicken bbq Delicious! My niece had shrimp and sweet peppers and her bus had white pizza! The service was great and attentive You can tell that they use the freshest ingredients and take pride in their work! I would definitely go back and try other menu items! The red sauce was delicious and the eggplant parm with spinach was FANTASTIC. The inside of the restaurant is just like a traditional pizza palor: clean, bright, no frills; I only had take-away. Great fresh tomato pizza, awesome chicken salad but!!!! AWFUL SERVICE. I mean awful. Don’t go in there to sit down and eat because you might not get drinks or menus for 5+ minutes. The poor lady up front is a sweetheart, but is all over the place and it feels like she either needs help or doesn’t want help when she desperately needs it. When you order take out and they quote you any time for pick up, legitimately add 10 minutes minimum. I’ve waited on multiple occasions for my food 20 minutes from the time they quoted me. It’s really not hard to communicate and estimate the proper wait time to pick up your food. It hate to leave such a review, but it’s necessary for all who want to enjoy their delicious pizza and return to not want to pull their hair out from the wait and how jumbled they are. Who ever is in charge needs to heed their customers reviews & make simple changes to better serve them. Some simple help and organization would be best.

Be sure to check your take-out order before you leave the restaurant. My four coworkers and I decided to order pizza for lunch, and we were excited about trying the new Colarusso's Restaurant near the Crossroads in Hanover Township. I told the person who took my order that it was our first visit, and I ordered two trays of pizza. I left my workplace to make the forty minute round trip to Colarusso's to get our order. When I returned to our workplace, we noticed that the pizza had not been baked or sliced. I called the restaurant, and the kind person who answered suggested that I return to get two freshly baked trays. At first she offered me the opportunity to keep the unbaked pies, and gave me instructions for baking them at home. I heard someone in the background yell, "We can't do that!" and the person I was speaking to then informed me that I must return the unbaked pizza. Thus, I left my workplace for a second forty minute round trip to exchange an unacceptable product for a usable one. When I arrived, I was informed that there was a price difference between baked and unbaked pizza, and that I needed to pay another $6.25 to cover the price difference! They offered no apology, no discount, no coupons for a future visit. My coworkers and I usually order pizza every Friday, and we have agreed to never order from Dave Colarusso's again!
