Baking Russian breads and serving up fried pastries and home-style cooking since 1953, Cinderella Bakery and Cafe is officially a San Francisco Legacy Business.
Walk in to an impressive sight of heaping piles of fried pirozhki (with fillings ranging from mushroom, cabbage, potato and beef), flaky croissants (chocolate, almond, cherry, raisin, ham and cheese), cookies and macarons as well as savory Siberian pirogi pies.
From the kitchen, a wide variety of stick-to-your-bones soups, stews and entrees that will warm you to your soul. Multiple choices of Russian pelmeni (boiled dumplings) and blinchki (crepes) to name a few as well as grab-and-go salads standard on any Russian table (Olivyeh, herring salad, vinaigrette, etc)
A true delight, especially when washed down with a refreshing glass of house made kvas (slightly sweet and tangy rye bread beer). Ample outdoor seating.

The most refreshing meal I have had in a long time. I hadn’t had Russian food at a restaurant before and it was superb. Reasonable prices, lovely atmosphere and charming servers. I recommend sitting on the patio and enjoying your Pelmeni in the sun. It’s a must go back place for me!

A very dangerous place if you like good pastries and Russian classics! What a wonderful place to enjoy very good homemade food. Sweet or savory! Very friendly service and a nice outdoor seating area ( no indoor seating available). Tucked away in a residential area is always busy.
