If you want to remember Saint Mary of Sorrows, come to this bar first. Visit Chloez Cafe to taste perfectly cooked burgers, eggs benedict and seafood. You will be served good pancakes, beignets and belgian waffles. Check out delicious Mimosas or good cider. Have been here several times. It’s a nice neighborhood-style eatery. Family-owned and the owners are very hands-on. I have never been disappointed by my meal or service. Highly recommend Chloez! We often go as a group of 6 for Friday breakfast, and Chloez is convenient for us, so we go there once every 4-6 weeks in a rotation of places we like. All of the dishes on the menu we have tried, and that includes most of the breakfast items, have been good to excellent. It is a fried potato lover paradise, for many breakfast entrees come with a large side of very good ones. On busy days it can be a bit noisy, but the place is as pleasant as a restaurant in a suburban shopping mall can be. The primary problem is with erratic service. Last Friday, it was good, but on other occasions it has taken an inordinate amount of time for servers to take orders and then to deliver them. Getting a coffee refill can be all but impossible. On one visit in late 2023 it took almost an hour for orders to be taken and another half hour for delivery of food. It required convincing to get some of our party to return, but thus far in 2024 we have been pleased. I've only been here once but it was such a wonderful experience. It was my first outing with a girlfriend and my little one and the staff really made us feel welcome and taken care of. Here and there, aside from our server they were checking on me and the little one, if she was ok or needed anything. I found that very kind and helped w/ my nervousness for taking care of little one during a day date in a restaurant. This is an uber late review. I was here during the holidays and the decorations were really cute and festive. Our server was Laila and she was very sweet and friendly. The food was great as well. I had the pancakes and my friend had the el presidente burrito w/ homemade salsa, both were awesome and homemade salsa stood out enough that my friend ordered some to go :D It's a great place to go that's family friendly, great food, and wonderful service.
