The meal that I had from China Star recently was by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had since living out here. I could not believe how bland it was. My wife and I are food industry professionals, and I value open communication when dealing with issues. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't meet expectations so I called to handle it quietly between them and I. I wasn’t even looking for money back; just merely to say never serve that again. The fried rice was overcooked beyond consumption and unappetizing. When I tried to address the problem, their response was nasty and very unprofessional – they hung up on me several times and I wasn’t even upset about the matter I was just telling them what I received. I literally wouldn’t have fed that to a dog. I'm relieved I didn't eat there and have no plans to even return. In the interest of upholding integrity, I'll be reporting this incident, and with my wife being a Serve Safe instructor let’s just say they were nasty to the wrong ones.
