Visited October of 2023 after watching a guy on YouTube eat a huge platter at a location in Dallas. I drove up from Houston to try it out and it was really good. 2 of the guys working inside were very friendly and even let me try a hot bite for free to see what it was.. I ordered way more food than I would normally eat since it's a far location and I came here just to try it out. I enjoyed everything I ate and took my leftovers home for my wife which she enjoyed. The staff was friendly and the food was good. But much like everything around town, the prices were kind of high, but that's normal these days. I will definitely be back next time i'm in Tomball. Totally biased here. I could be surrounded by the four largest chicken brands – – and I will drive 5 to 10 miles to go to a Chicken Express. You cannot beat their, sweet tea – – the sweetest, or the price. Even when their chicken is cold and old – – it’s still the best. It’s always been juicy, never dry. I like this store in particular because they don’t even know you and treat you like royalty. Don’t wait too late to go – – as they do sell out of food. The chicken strips and the fish are awesome! I was very happy with the service. They did not rush me, and they spoke clearly, not typical of fast food restaurants. My husband and I were very happy with everything. I am bringing my 5 start down to a 3. I still love their fish and chicken strips. My husband and I decided to try their fried chicken and were so disappointed! It was so greasy and undercooked. We couldn't even eat most of it. We just had family bring us food. When we checked our two 7tender meal orders they were both only 4 pieces and the manager refused a refund unless we could bring back the entire order of untouched food. No solution to their mistake was offered to our family. When we tried to call there's no answer and it goes to voicemail. Won't be back. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

The service was the best I have had in a while. All I can say is the young lady was great the cook was great and the manager was great. The atmosphere was family like. The food was spot on and good. Thank you for a great experience I will return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to the drive thru after work to get dinner. I ordered a 2 pc fish combo with and xtra large yea and a regular order of mini poppers. Fish’s is made fresh to order and I was prepared to wait a few minutes. My receipt was time stamped at 7:10 pm and at 7:37 pm I was still waiting. I called from the parking lot because they had me pull away from the drive thru. They told me that my food was ready and they would bring it out. A guy brought me someone else’s order and I had to call back and a lady brought me my order. I get home to eat the fish and it’s literally all crumbled and torn and not cooked well after waiting all of that time in the drive thru. I’m very upset and I will not be going back to this location!! Service was bad, untimely, and food was undercooked! This is our go to place when we visit from out of town. Not sure where they're getting the gizzards from but geeze they're not TX sized anymore. These gizzards were smaller than a McDonald's chicken nugget. No joke. The chicken and sides were great as always though. I caught covid or some cold here. The workers come in sick and serve the food to the customers sick. When I was here I saw workers visibly sick with something, wipe their nose with their hands and then proceed to touch the food. I wish I saw this before I started to eat. Litterly two days after eating here I got sick. BTW the food was okay, if you like it with a side of covid or colds! Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
